That's too bad. I wonder where the group goes from here. I would guess ride it out with the remaining members, but the group is extremely close so maybe this leads to other changes.

(Unrelated but thanks for mentioning Ready to Kiss in your blog, I had no idea Saki joined a new group.)

This past Sunday Megu and Terumi graduated. At the end of the concert the group announced they will have their major label debut this summer. Akira shock. After more than three years they will finally have a major debut. This should have happened two years ago, but I'm still happy for them. Although it's bittersweet considering two of the more popular members just graduated. Before their debut I predict that they will add 1-2 new members.

They will be streaming another concert tonight:

yesterday was probably the best Predia concert I saw until now. they started the so called "new phase" of the group with:

-new costumes, more 'idolish'.
-new member, Yuu Maeda (blog here: http://ameblo.jp/yuuhaaan/ ). a former model and race queen. gotta say she is very pretty. (it will be easy to forget Terumi and Megumi :P ) obviously very raw singing and dancing still.
-now all of them carry microphones and have some solo parts. Rumina and Akane are still the main vocals, but most of the songs now have other girls participating more (specially Runa, Keiko, Sakurako and Akina).

Well, no one wrote about their major debut single yet? It got released and reached - Rank 6 in Oricon, with over 22,000 copies sold! :w00t:

Great song. They totally deserve it.

I was waiting for someone to reply  .

I'm so happy for the 4th place in the daily chart and of course the 6th place.

So far I have not found any videos from TIF 2014. I was only seeing their show on saturday evening there (Doll Factory?) but it was great!

Nico is troublesome. I always get kicked out and can't ge me a Premium Account.

Glad you had a great time at their live.

I only got kicked once and it was during an AKB48 live.
But the stream lags sometimes.

Predia are having a little break.

So Akina and Runa went out with Terumi and Megumi.

I haven't seen any predia TIF 2014 footage yet either, although every year they have bad luck with being included in the broadcasts. It could be a while before any videos show up. In the meantime, if anyone is interested, here is footage from TIF 2011 and 2013. As far as I know they never appeared on any TIF 2012 broadcast.

2011

(side note: if you watch the whole video, you can see iDOL Street members before they became Cheeky Parade)

2013

(side note: I think a certain member of this forum can be seen in the Azure Stage footage. He'll have to confirm though)

:(

I don't think i watched the 2011 performance yet, thanks for the video.

Another question.
Did you see the scan of Yuu in that magazine?

I saw a snapshot but not an actual scan.

if you are talking about me, yep, I was definitely there and that performance was superb. I have no clue what I was wearing that day anymore so I can`t search myself but I swear to god that I`m not the guy doing ridiculous dance in the center of the video or the one doing oshi jumps in the front, cuz I don`t have white cap or that shirt.  there`s a guy using BiS shirt, so that could be me. but I`m not that fatty, am I? whatever...

@qwiksXnd
While trying to find the video and failing i read your last blog about Predia and it was really good!

That quote is so true.
Quote
Predia has been one of the most overlooked pop groups of all time, not just by idol fans in general, but even by their own agency.

But i don't really agree about Boukyaku no Cinderella, i love that song as much Kowareta Ai no Hate ni.
I'm never tired to hear it live or the receorded version.

predia is solid but definitely underrated.

Every time I see them I am impressed but I still struggle to recognize everyone who is not Akane or Rumina. Sorry.

Totally forgot they had their own thread here

Video is the usual. Reminds me a lot of the prior MVs. The music is similar in style. But I hate to see Akane playing the 'manly' role again, like during Halloween. Is there a reason to it?

@mixedmedia
Not knowing all the names is excused. At least you acknowledge their existence :D But you should be able to recognize Reiko, too. For me the member who stands out the most, apart from the Big 2.

Akane`s been playing that boyish character since the beginning of the group, basically. even when she still had a longer hair, look out some old backstage videos of them in youtube.

Yuu-chama is their new center in most of the choreography recently so one should be able to notice her too. apart of the fact she is so fucking beautiful.

new song and MV are not bad but... don`t stand out, so "classic Predia" that it gives me yawns. I want a new "Hey Boy" at least, c`mon!

Predia wouldn`t be so underrated if their members were all 5-7 years youngers. fact.  :P

I only really notice Yuu in their videos (the one with the side pony tail). I don't really know the others that well or at all. Yeah a lot of their songs don't really stand out for except for the one with the music video that had them in the red dresses in the white room. Although I will say I like this new one better than the previous one in the desert.

Great last album. Last two singles solid.
Since they introduced that relentless pulsating beat their sound got the necessary kick in the ass. Before that, weak as hell imo.

*** Quick guide: who is who ***

Akane: tomboy, lead singer
Rumina: other singer

Reiko: stockings
Yuu: ultra-skinny arms

Sakurako: babyface
Akina: dimples
Keiko: mini-hat
Yuzuka: cleavage

Runa and Mai: the two on the side of the screen, nobody knows who is who

I don't like their look when they perform too much makeup and I don't really care for the dresses either - but when I saw them in casual clothes at the PASSPO concert they looked really nice :)
