Well, managed to get through about a little more than a quarter of the fics/fic updates. Trying to hit the "new" ones as well as the ones for which I usually leave shorter comments first, as those tend to be a little easier to get through for me as I can just get in a bit of a groove and read straight on through. Might not have to get through that many tomorrow though.

The big ones (i.e. the fics where I'm compelled to do the massive commentary) are still gonna be a while.

There really has been some kind of activity here lately. Just last night I noticed a flurry of updates where perhaps 10 threads must have been bumped in a few hour period

(of course, partly thanks to you

I think I might try and take a little break from updating as I have... I need to catch up with classes and will probably be starting a new job anyway.

Ahhh it feels good to update again.

I feel inspired to write again lately, probably because I took a break from work. Work kills my brain cells otherwise. :/

I was just thinking, what kind of reputation does each writer have? Like, some of us are "Kids" writers (though arguably most of the Kids are growing up, but the name stuck lmao), while some are '85ers, and the majority now are the Gorokkie writers. Then there's also some variation style-wise, like me and my tendency to throw the girls into wacky AUs where all rules are changed (so far we have pirates, ninjas, vampires, nuns, and assassins...

), and I like to see rokun's fics as carefully researched, whatever universe he happens to put them in (it really shows

).

So I was thinking, what sort of categories would we be sorted into?

Sorry, I'm just bored.

With you I always see more Playboy!Ai and definite RenAi in awesome AU's. I think I just mentioned in one of my replies that I noticed rokun's tendency to switch pairings and also his expansive worlds. Hammy-san of course is known for killing off at least one main character every other story or so, though I like it. Yuuyami-sama writes kind of the same way you do Estrea, with the wacky AU thing, though she also seems to write like she's speaking in Japanese, which leaves for a pretty cool effect on dialogue.

As for me, hmmm, I can't think that way about myself. I guess I haven't decided yet, though I used to do strictly Biyuuden, W and yonki stories, that's changed recently.

Anyone else?

I started off as an 85ers+Ayaya (who is a 35er). Then I moved onto GAM, and now I write ComFen vs. GAM. Even my "in Reina's head" fic was 1/3 about GAM. Hmm, I see a constant.

Isn't it nice to get your inspiration back, Es? Work can cause brain damage, but writing helps give meaning to life~ (How do you think I wrote most of the Love universe? Why, sitting at my desk during the boring parts of work

I feel so bad, cause I have the newest chapter of my story worked out in my mind, but between failure mechanics and thermodynamics I can't sit down and write it out. Sometimes I am afraid of just losing inspiration all together, cause I <3 you wacky kids and I feel like I would be losing touch if I stopped writing.

lol I've already liked ReinAi before I knew there were fics of them. So you have me, but you're making me hate them in your fic Estera! >_< Damn you! I just don't like to see sweet and kind-hearted people to end up cheated on or hurt. So if ReinAi do hook up I'm going to be so mad! lol And I normally do like ReinAi. I even had a one-shot about them. I kind of lost it now and didn't want to continue because it was turning into a perv. Something I did not feel like writing. But you can count me in for them. lol

As for AU fics I don't know if mine count. I do enjoy reading them more than writing it. But I guess The Coven counts as AU? I'm not all that good as it as like Hammy, Estrea, and Yuuyami who are amazing writers of course. Oh but I am working on this new fic that has to do with a killer. Is that AU? lol

But real life sucks.

Besides, don't be too quick to judge so soon. :3 People are fallible beings too. Making mistakes is normal. :3 It's what you do after you make a mistake that eventually weighs your worth as a person.

If life were a fairytale there would be no stories worth writing (for me, anyway). Hehe.

Estrea lesson of the day: DO NOT TRUST THE NARRATOR. No, I don't mean me. Of course you can trust me...

I meant the narrating voice in the story. Everyone has their own agenda (including me, actually especially me), so who knows if what they perceive is right? So you gotta learn who's right and who's wrong, and who just wants to see what they want to see.
