Nakano San Puraza seats less than 2300
Does H!P really have that little fans? Especially when this is a 15th Anniversary Winter concert
I'd thought it'd at least be at an arena bigger than Budokan

^They always have some of the H!P concerts at Nakano Sun Plaza, at least for all the years I've been a fan.
It's something of a tradition by now, and it doesn't really matter THAT much if it's not a huge stadium for the following reason:

In case you didn't notice, they're doing FOURTEEN shows there!

This not only allows more casual fans to pick a show that fits their schedule, but also allows more hardcore fans to go to multiple shows.
With two setlists, many fans will want to go to at least two shows, and some of the insanely devoted (and rich) fans go to ALL OF THEM.
For one-time-only events like Morning Musume graduations, yes it makes more sense to have as much capacity as possible.
But for regular concerts with lots of repeat ticket-buyers, this seems like a pretty good balance.

Just as a rough estimate, let's say they sell 2,000 tickets out of the 2,222 capacity for each show at Nakano Sun Plaza
That's 28,000 tickets, which at ¥8400 a ticket, amounts to ¥235,200,000 in gross sales over the course of two weeks. (~$3M or ~€2.3M)

So how much is that over the whole month?
Google says Nagoya Shimin Kaikan has about 2,300 capacity, NHK Osaka Hall has about 1,400, and Fukuoka Convention Center's Main Hall has around 1,000.
A rough estimate gives roughly 47,000-48,000 available tickets for all the shows, which gives somewhere in the area of ¥400,000,000 if they completely sell out. (roughly $5M or €3.9M)
Even at 80% capacity, that adds up to about $1M a week in gross ticket sales.

Add on the merchandise, and we may be looking at something in the neighborhood of $10M in gross revenue for 24 shows over one month.
Considering the cost of renting one of those huge stadiums and the relative difficulty of filling it up on any one given day, it's pretty easy to see how more, smaller shows trump fewer, bigger ones.

Those days were, like, a decade ago already. :P But as long as they keep managing to consistently get venues and attendance I wouldn't worry about how "little" fans are left, because it's clear that after 15 years they still have a lot, at least enough to keep doing these tours.

Besides, one advantage of smaller venues is a more intimate experience; most of the audience is guaranteed at least a decent view of the stage, rather than half the crowd being lost in the nosebleed section of a huge arena and forced to rely on the jumbotrons.

One thing that caught my attention in the tour schedule is the last stop being in Fukuoka, Reina's home prefecture...but maybe I'm reading into that too much. :nervous

That's where you're wrong.  No reason to be an ass about it.
Open your eyes and you'll see that the younger members are already capable idols and performers.

But about Fukuoka being the last stop on this tour, I think it's coincidence.
They wouldn't have a graduation concert at a venue that only seats 1,000, and certainly not for a popular member like Reina.

I've said it before, we probably won't hear anything about her graduation until after her band is formed.
Once that happens, I give her about 6 months.

Well, Tsunku did say he wanted to introduce Reina's band at this concert tour.
What better place than her hometown?
Reina has mentioned she finally got a look at the finalists: http://ameblo.jp/tanakareina-blog/entry-11378436599.html

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that one is going to be announced far in advance.
With an arena (probably Budokan) at the end of the whole thing.

JIJIPRESS adds it's (day 1) digest to the mix.

Masaka won't be performing until she's rested and healthy: http://ody-inc.com/release/2012/12/hello-project.html

Tsunku's kids (the twins) went to see it and had the privilege of going backstage: http://gree.jp/c_ute/blog/entry/659235019

Quote
And then, Tsunku♂-san’s twin children soothed me again yesterday(lol)

His son loves Mano Erina-chan
(...)

But the instant Mano-chan came,

we went “Ah(=°ω°=)”,

and looked over with a bashful smile(゜o゜;)

In addition, even though he will high-five Mano-chan, he won’t high-five anyone else…

When Mano-chan put her hand out while saying “Bye By~e“, he happily ran over,

and “Slap“
gave her a high-five,
(...)
At any rate, the son really loves Mano-chan~(*´∀`)

^Some wota reports on Aichan's surprise appearance XD

- At the beginning of the song the formation on the line closer to the audience went like Fukumura - Tanaka - Takahashi - Michishige - Sayashi, but then Aichan ran over to Sayashi and sang next to her, went back to her place again, then went to Fukuchan, back again, then off to Sayu's side, back, and then went to harass Reina. XD And then at the very end she goes to Sayashi's side, right before her last couple of lines, and when you heard the blip in sound around 3:20, it's because Aichan sang the line before that, and then shoved her mic into Sayashi's face to make her sing the last line. Hence the blip. But in the end she succeeded in making Sayashi sing, so yup. Apparently when Aichan pulled that on her, Sayashi got a EHHHHHHH kind of face at the unscripted moment, but at least she caught on quickly enough. Plus I'm personally kind of surprised that Riho actually managed to sing in a way that actually sounded like Aichan for that moment. XD Just don't give the girl high notes...

- Apparently you could see how happy Reina was to be singing with Aichan again. Even if she did her best to hide it when Aichan came over to harass her by invading her personal space (and pretending to try and kiss her again, lmfao), but you could see her how she was grinning throughout, and on the audio I can almost hear Reina's voice light up more than usual. She doesn't sound as burdened as she usually does nowadays. I guess when you don't have to worry about the other person screwing up, it's less of a burden.

- All the girls were really happy to see Aichan on stage again. Sayu was acting like a fangirl, Sayashi kept staring at Aichan throughout, and of course Reina looked happy and relaxed again. It felt like a dream to see Ai as a member of Morning Musume once more, even if it only lasted for that moment.

- Yet despite all that the wota I got this report from felt like the current Morning Musume had no real place left for Aichan as they were now. That performance was a callback to the past, resurrecting shadows of past performances, but the new Morning Musume had already changed into something else. It was nostalgic but not quite the same. Interesting....I would have loved to see it myself. I hope it makes it into a DVD magazine somewhere...

My own thoughts: When I played the audio I instantly recognized Ai's voice. How could I not? XD I only wished I could have seen it myself. Oh apparently she came on stage with a fedora XD before taking it off to reveal her face. XD Sneaky sneaky...
