I still consider the pink uniform as one of their best. ;)

But it is an anniversary show, not a graduation show (officially). So your idea with cake costume isn't that bad. Just get everyone the same Nachu had for her birthday. Just imagine: 9 cakes dancing on stage! Maybe this would even 'gain' them some fans of Chubbyness

Good point there.  :thumbup  the polka dots can create a kind of visual illusion to mask any otherwise-obvious signs of weight gain over the festive season/winter. A tactically astute move

Their uniform isn't that bad! The only problem is that... thing (yes there's no other word for that) on their neck! But except that, it's okay!
And they will probably not use it really often (for the moment, they still have no accessories to show their color). It's a uniform like you can see on they two best of albums.
To me, their tee shirt (the one looking like the himawari uniform) are really worst than this uniform!

To talk about news, seems that PASSPO have a new contract with Beats. Yucky, Morishi, Aipon and Makocchan posted some photos on twitter and instagram with their headphones today.

Oh and since a few week, PASSPO came back in the French/Japanese TV show "Japan in Motion" :
Yucky and Sakoti two weeks ago : http://noco.tv/emission/14902/nolife/japan-in-motion/s11e05-les-pink-babies-a-hiroshima-le-retour-des-passpo
Aipon and Annya http://noco.tv/emission/15055/nolife/japan-in-motion/s11e06-natchan-a-velo-les-passpo-et-un-orchestre-a-part

This week, it's also Aipon and Annya (released soon)
You can watch it for free during one month.
Sorry for my english! I'll try my best.

All the Beats stuff today seemed odd since the staff Twitter posted a video of Anya and Mio in a video for Ultimate Ears yesterday.

Then again, custom fit in-ear monitors are completely different than the overpriced status symbols that are Beats. If they got a deal then good for them. Those things sell themselves.

I recall seeing Anya spin so fast one time that I could see her belly button when they were wearing the Himawari uniforms which have a kind of high belt/waist.

Here's some footage of her spinning around while cooking/eating yakisoba in case I can't find a clip of what I was talking about.

@mixedmedia

Few weeks ago, Miomio shows (twitter, again) her in-ear monitor. It was already tat stuff.
But since it's two differents products (only headphone for Beats, no other stuff), isn't impossible that they have contracts for both of them (lots of people have both).
And also, each member only have one of these products (for the moment).
Also, some people feel uncomfortable with one or the other of the products (have to say that in-ear isn't what I prefer :/ )

To bad it is winter. Makes it hard to make out passengers really wearing Nachu's shirt. Or Naomins, with the panties on the back. Do they even think of the wotas who have to wear this? Or are they making fun of them. That again would be kind of cool. ;)

The fan girling is nice. Makes you wonder a bit if she likes her stay in PASSPO :D

Meh. Hopefully they still have some of those KISS-inspired black Ts since i bought the wrong size at TIF.

Apparently Yukkii went and ate a giant burger in Shinjuku earlier.

Before: https://twitter.com/passpoyukimi/status/524857069090783234

After: https://twitter.com/passpoyukimi/status/524894415387492353

I haven't followed them that closely on Twitter in the past (because I'm a DD that follows pretty much ALL the idols on Twitter) but I want to see Morishi in a beer commercial soon! http://instagram.com/p/uaYbzPqrUH/

@Akokyuu true, it's pretty much a free for all when it comes to people marketing/promoting stuff in Japan. I'm just glad it's getting colder so I can wear my "air traffic controller" over ear headphones again. Although I'm sure the price of UEs will make me want to cry, I like earphones with the loop because they help them stay in the ear when moving around. If anyone wants at least 2 pairs of never used iPhone/iPod earbuds, let me know.

Oh man I think I'm falling for Sakotee  ... and knowing the fact that she fangirls over Haropuro makes her even more endearing to me. (runs off to find more video clips of Sako)

Yes, she is ill, though already tweeting again :twothumbs

Sakoti was well enough to perform tonight at Akasaka Halloween but Makocchan wasn't there because she had something else. Was a bit strange seeing them with 8 members. They were all dressed as Waldo (from "Where's Waldo?" or as he is called in Japan, Wally) thanks to Yukkii.

Very few people can pull off high-waisted shorts IMO but Yukkii is definitely one of them. Be on the lookout for photographic proof (as long as the photogs in Akasaka Blitz weren't slacking) soon!

Set List
1. Step & Go
2. Candy Room
3. Sakura Komachi
4. Wanted
5. Kucha Love
6. Himawari

There was even a small mosh pit during Himawari!

Here you can see a bit of Yucky in her costume:
https://twitter.com/morishixsmilin/status/528713131329982464

Although I oshi her, I am glad not seeing the group in this clothes perform. Don't like the glasses and some of their hair styles. But it is nice to see them in different clothing for a show, other than their uniform. And it is belly free.

Was anything different without Makaochan, performance wise? The tracklist had no Mako-heavy song, as I can see.
Few days before they even performed with only seven members, when Sacotee was ill. I was always wondering what they would do live if Aipon or Morishi were ill.

Mosh Pit? Not mine. I already struggle with the Step&Go left-and-right running

Have you seen the new shirts and hoodies they sell on tour now? Designed by Mio again. The hoodie is okay, with a skeleton in flight attendant uniform. Though it looks a bit cartoony. But the shirts and a towel has a shark motive. What is the connection between a shark and PASSPO?

And does this say anything about getting tickets? I want to go there :w00t:

You need to see Yukkii dressed like that from the side for the best results, probably. Hopefully there will be some on stage shots soon. It's a long weekend here in Japan (tomorrow is Culture Day, a national holiday). I was pretty amazed since I remember seeing her with that giant burger on Twitter a while back.

Didn't get to check out the goods tables since they had different groups selling goods at different times. http://www.akasakahalloween.jp/1101.html
Hime Kyun Fruit Can was on and they were dressed as maids so I didn't make it down to check the PASSPO table in time.

I bought the event shirt and some iron-on patches on the way out though. http://www.akasakahalloween.jp/goods.html

Perhaps it was because I was a little hungover but, I could have sworn that they said the set of 24 patches was only 6000 yen and it flew over my head.

The second link just says mobile members have priority to get tickets right now. Regular ticket sales should start soon. I wonder who else will get added to the evening show or if they'll just do more songs. Since when is Shiichan a DJ?

As someone who hasn't paid much attention to Makocchan, I didn't notice too much different. I barely even noticed that Nachu was there to be honest. Sorry Nachu fans!

Hehe, you mean the pic where her belly looked pregant? Reminded me of her post when she was eating a giant gyoza

Well, idols in maid uniforms always have priority. I get that ;) Who are those guys anyway? Male idols? Or just moderators? But so many?
Patches are new for me. Never saw those.

Ah, thanks. I presume their will be more groups coming. Though I would prefer longer sets, as I really like all the groups there and don't need any more. Would be great for akushukai events and such as well.
Well, I never got those DJ thing. What does a DJ anyway? It's not like playing a instrument like a guitar or drums.

Makochan never made an impression live to me as well. But she has some of her 'own' songs, like 'Pink no Parachute' or 'Kimi Iro no Samba'. And well, Nachu - is Nachu. I mostly only see her when Annya teases her again. :P

Link to the gyoza challenge: http://ima.goo.ne.jp/column/article/1481.html
I went there with a friend when he tried to take on the giant gyoza. He also failed. That thing is ridiculously big and you need to order it 2 days in advance. 9,000 yen but you get it back if you can eat it all in an hour.

I meant that fans of Yukkii's curves will want to see her in those shorts. Most girls look like they're wearing diapers or "mom jeans" when they try to do the high waist thing that is allegedly in fashion.

"Those guys" were Japanese comedians so between the performances they'd come on and do their bits. I took advantage of that time to go to the restroom or walk around a bit.

There was a machine to put the patches on the shirts but I said I'd just do it later. Until I went up to the table, I thought they were pin badges (which I would have totally bought all of them if they were). Oh well, it's just money and I've spent more for less before.

Looks like Makocchan was doing a Dangan Ronpa play with Fujie Reina and Ishida Haruka and the last day is tomorrow. http://www.cornflakes.jp/dangan/cast/ But true Makocchan fans would have known that already right?

Annya slapped Nachu in the butt and then "threw" it into the crowd at one point.

I know a few DJs who are actually good but it seems like anyone is saying they are a DJ now. Aside from basic mixing of the songs to ensure seamless transitions, the hard part seems to be knowing what songs to play at the right time. I'm not expecting most so-called DJs to be making live remixes or doing any crazy scratching or beat juggling though. In the right hands, turntables, drum machines, mixers, etc. can be like an instrument but it seems like a lot of people just press play and wave their hands and throw cakes into the crowd.

One hour?  :shocked

I know what you mean. Especially since the cut of the regular uniform isn't perfect for her. Damn, I missed something then...

Ah, comedians. You chose the best alternative with taking a walk then, I guess  :D

Annya "threw" what in the crowd? Nachu?

Well, I have close to none respect for electronic music. So I wouldn't know. Even though Yucky does act as a DJ as well in the band version. But all is better than playing a tambourine, I presume.

Who is your fave by the way, if there is any?
