Possibly Falubaz (speedway, Polish league) will get championship this year :twothumbs
Last time Falubaz had it was 2009 and they actually ended championships with a crash

ESPN having their city sites do their Hall of Fame got me to think about my city's Hall of Fame.

Who would be the 5 you would place in your city's Hall of Fame?

I vote for TOZ as the most gangsta~  :otomerika:

I live in Hawaii so there wouldn't be a really long list of candidates.

That said, the topic would do GANGBUSTERS on talk radio, teevee, newspapers, etc.

1. Duke Kahanamoku

lol Edmonton Cup. Oilers vs Eskimos. Football and Hockey team playing each other in each others court/field/ice.

I dunno. I just cringe at the thought with all da Oilers being banged up the past few weeks http://oilers.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=625277

Then again Honolulu by the constitution is huge in comparison to any other city in the world :P

1. Duke
2. Wally Yonamine
3. Dave Shoji
4. Patsy Mink (It may not be popular but why not)
5. Kevin Asano (no one else can say they won the Silver in a sport not dominated by a European country)

I came upon this video of Antonio Reina in a series training session and wow. I'm impressed for so many things, first that he's relatively young (he was barely 20 when he won the 800 m World Cup!  :shocked ) second, that even at 30 when he can't get faster anymore he's still able to do series of 300m at less than 13" per 100m  :shocked :shocked  and with a fuckin' blister in his foot  :shocked :shocked :shocked :shocked :shocked

Plus, he's cute
