My opinions on the PVs and tbh I like them all.

--Utsukushii Inazuma: First things first, I do not get deer Non lol that was really random for me; everything about this pv screams totally hot, everyone was killing me and who even thought having Rena being splashed with water and letting Jurina roll around in the sand was a good idea, no stop it, that's dangerous lol everyone looks so good and I really like the shots in the forest.

Dance is a bit weird in some parts but I really like it.

Team PVs

--Jyuri Jyuri Baby: lol What the heck is going on, I seriously didn't get it, the whatever drama that was going on was so serious that it was making me laugh and what is with that guy, it was like he was getting mad over Team S dancing or something but everyone looks so good and the dance is awesome.

Can't wait to see the live version of it~

--Futari dake no Parade: A really boring pv but it's also really pretty, I like the filters they were using that makes it so bright and colorful, everyone is pretty here; also wtf random explosion WHY LOL

--Shalala na Calendar: Megane! That's always a plus for me those outfits though lol everything about this pv is cute to me but other than that I don't really get the context of it.

Missed a few days but per the screen shot below,  SKE48 - 12th Single ''Utsukushi Inazuma'' should clear 500k for the week

SKE48's 12th single "Utsukushii Inazuma" (went on sale on July 17) sold 511,000 copies, and topped Oricon's weekly single ranking.




This is the group's 8 consecutive chart topping singles. It's also 3 consecutive singles that sold over 500,000 copies during the first week, and they are the second female artist to achieve it after their sister group AKB48.


The captain of SKE48, Nakanishi Yuka expressed her gratitude toward fans, "I felt a little nervous as the single was released after many members graduated, but because of your support, we were able to get first place. From now on, we will work hard more actively to meet your expectations, so please continue to support us."

SKE48's latest single tops Oricon weekly chart 2 weeks in a row



Popular idol group SKE48's 12th single, "Utsukushii Inazuma" (released July 18), has sold 95,000 copies in the 2nd week (total 605,000 copies). With this result SKE48 has topped Oricon's weekly single ranking for the 2nd consecutive week.



Since debuting in August 2009, SKE48 has topped the single ranking 8 times, but this is their first to top the ranking 2 weeks in a row. They have also set a record within the AKB48 family (sister groups, sub-units, solo) with this accomplishment. While 48 singles have made it to number 1, they are the first to see their single in the number 1 spot for 2 consecutive weeks.



The last artist to top the single ranking for 2 consecutive weeks was Maximum the Hormone about 2 years and 4 months ago with their single, "Utsukushiki Hitobito no Uta / maximum the hormone / my girl" (released March 2011), for the weeks of April 4th and 11th of 2011. For a female group, the last was Mini Moni about 12 and a half years ago with their single, "Mini Moni. Jankenpyon! / Haru Natsu Aki Fuyu Daisuki!" (released January 2001), for the weeks of January 29th and February 5th of 2001.



Matsui Jurina expressed, "Thank you. I am very surprised. I am very happy that SKE48 has set a record in the 48 group!" She continued, "Since we challenged ourselves to new things with this single, the members are all pleased that we were able to set a record. SKE48 will continue to grow by trying more and more new things."



Matsui Rena also commented, "I still can't believe it, but once again, I feel that we really are being supported by many people. We want to do our best so that more and more people will come to get to know SKE48."
