Before Aya Ueto was a solo singer or actress she was in a Jpop group called Z1. Has anyboard heard them? Were they any good? Also is there anywhere i can get Z1 videos?

She is very popular in Japan at the moment, with woman as well as men.

I've always loved Ueto, but I just watched her in Install yesterday, and damn do I love that movie dispite it's weirdness/pervy content.

I just got into Aya about a month ago, I didn't see this thread until today. I loved her in Azumi, though the sequel was a bit of a let down but still good. She totally stunned me in the kimono scene from the first film. I just love her lips.

Did anyone got the "2007 Tour Never Ever" DVD? I thought it was pretty good. There's room for improvement though. The band was kinda weak, could just be the mix. Sometimes the guitars has really bad/weak tone. Aya needs to work on her stamina a bit more, her voice gets weaker near the end of the show. It's better than on the previous DVD.

But still, it's a very cool concert.

edit: After watching it some more I keep getting disappointed how bad the mix and the band are.. really a missed opportunity for a great dvd..

She released the Happy Magic: Smile Project album in 2009, but I didn't like it that much. She mostly does acting stuff and some movie stuff.
