I reread my first chapters and found out that I was supposed to write substance, not substitude

Here's chapter 9: Truth.

Too late. Hansel went berserk.
“No… one… makes Gretel suffer!”“Shit! I thought he was already dead!” Yagami-senpai leaped to the side, dodging a random obstacle that was blown by the explosion.
“Kojima-senpai, get away from Gretel!” I shouted as I ran towards her.
“M-Mayu?!” Yuki followed me from beside. I bet she can actually run faster…
But it was too late, Hansel had already passed me. Running towards Kojima Haruna who was still on top of Gretel. And there, Hansel was already besides her. Raising his fist, ready to make some broken bones.
“Haruna-senpai!!” Sakura, who was not far away from her was able to block the punch with her axe.
Clang!!“Sakura!” Yui shouted, worrying about her little kouhai.
“Shit! We need to do something! They just don’t want to die!!” Sayaka shouted.
Yes, we can’t kill them. We need to do something else.
“…Yuki, I need you to do something”

Swish!Shit. That was a little miss, if I didn’t leap to the side, my hand must’ve been cut off…
Urgh, maybe I shouldn’t throw knifes at enemies without weapons… He took one and now he’s using it to attack.
Another trio of slashes forced me to roll backwards, the blade came close enough to make a cut on my skin.
“You know Hansel, you better stop this shit right now” Kaichou who was watching our battle suddenly spoke.
“Not until you… leave her alone!” Hansel yelled back.
“Easy boy, we were just self-defensing! It’s you who suddenly attack our school!!” I could see Jurina holding her anger as she could only watch.
“Fuck off. If I didn’t attack first you guys would!”
Swish!Another cut on my cheek.
“Kaichou, won’t you let me help Yuki?!” Yui asked permission from Kaichou.
“No, Yui. This is her decision after all. I believe she has a plan.”
Right. I asked Kaichou to fight Hansel 1-on-1. Just as Mayu wanted.

“…Yuki, I need you to do something”
“What is it?”
“Hold on Hansel, but show him that we mean no harm”
“What? We’re on a battlefield, Mayu. It’s a war. If a team stops attacking then the other team would.”
“That’s why I want you to fight him alone, Yuki. I believe you can dodge his attack without attacking back.” Mayu said as she ran towards Gretel. “As for Gretel, leave her to me.” ___________________________________________________________________________
Of course I didn’t want Mayu to be facing Gretel, but since she was so determinate and Gretel was still unconscious…
Hansel was ready to stab me as he raised his knife above me, but he stopped because of Mayu’s voice:
“Gretel is such a cute girl, huh.”
Mayu was sitting on top of Gretel’s stomach, with a knife ready on Gretel’s face.
“It’d be a shame if this face is hurt, right?” She said with a mocking voice.
“Get off her!!” Hansel yelled angrily as he was about to dart towards Mayu, but I stopped Hansel before he could. A dagger of mine around his neck.
“You’re not done with me.” I gripped on his arm, making sure to not let him hulk towards Mayu.
“Neh, Hansel. Let’s make a deal. I’ll give her back to you, but after that get out of here.” Mayu smirked. “It’s a good deal, no?”
“...Why should I trust you?”
“No reasons… Well, if you don’t want to Yuki would definitely kill you… And I will definitely kill Gretel” She said as her smile grew wider. “Anyway, you only have one hand, and since Yuki is holding the other one, you have none right now” She continued to give a reason.
“…bitch”
Slash!Mayu made a cut on Gretel’s face.
“Kh?! You bastard!!!” Hansel shouted. If I didn’t press my knife on his throat, he would’ve been out of my grip. I gave Mayu a why-did-you-do-that face.
“Well, duh. It’s because he hurt you, Yuki.” She answered with a sulking face. Aah, kawaii…
“I won’t forgive you for that!” Hansel cried. But Mayu answered with a smirk on her face.
“Ara, it seems like you don’t want the insulin’s?”
Insulin…? Uwa, don’t tell me Gretel’s actually?
“…You have some?” Hansel suddenly become tame. He didn’t try to get off my grip anymore.
“Duration is about 10 until 16 hours… good enough right?”
“Oi, what are they talking about?” Kumi asked Kaichou.
“Heh… It seems like one of them got Diabetes” Kaichou answered.
“…Deal. Let go off me.” Hansel finally agreed. I glance at Mayu, she gave me a nod.

CHAPTER 10: Lovers.
“Urgh… where am I?” I felt pain in my head. Yuki was sitting beside the bed where I’m in.
“Mayu, you’re finally awake~” She hugged me. “This is my room”
Eh? Her room? As in Yuki’s room? “Eh?? Why am I in your room??”
“Don’t you remember? We had a sexy night-”
I slapped her arms “Stop joking!!” I said as I felt my face getting warm from embarrassment.
“Buuhh, Mayuyu doesn’t like to play around” She snuggled her head to my neck, tightening her grip around my waist. “I’m glad you woke up” She continued.
… Silence suddenly kicked in. Well, not the awkward type, the sweet one… It’s like, no words are needed to show her feelings… She was worried about me. I hugged her back. Right after Hansel and Gretel went away, I felt exhausted until I black out. And then here I am, waking up in her room.
“H-hey, it’s not like I was asleep for a week, right?” I break the silence.
“Of course not, it was only for a night. Well, almost a day, it’s already noon now.” Damn, one day of fighting, and one day of sleeping. That means two day of not contacting Miyuki!?
“D-did Miyuki, uh my sister. Did she searched for me?? Perhaps?” Knowing how Miyuki, she must’ve been worried.
“Oh, right. That cute little sister of yours slapped me in my face” She explained with a sigh as she loosen the hug.
“S-seriously?” I asked in doubt. I mean, why would she… Ah, she must’ve saw Yuki and I together that time… Urgh, this is insanely so like her. Checking out on whoever talks to me… Smashing whoever suspiciously gets too close with me… I feel guilty, I should apologize to Yuki…
“Don’t worry, she’s a normal. It didn’t really hurt.” Yuki suddenly said before I apologized. It was like she knew I felt guilty about it. But after hearing she said that it really did made me calm down. I answered with a smile. I looked at her to the eyes. She was… beautiful…
She gently scooped up a few locks of my hair with her hands. Smelling it like giving it a small peck of kisses. Damn it, I could feel my cheek burning. This is making me go super doki-doki…
“You’re hair really does smell nice” Yuki compliment me with a smile. I looked down because of embarrassment. She then gently took my hand in her own, gracing it with a light kiss. I felt like my face was going to boil over with the happiness and embarrassment.
For her to do these things does make me happy, but it’s kind of embarrassing… I mean, this is what lovers do right? Our relationship isn’t even close with that…
…ok, maybe it is close.
Yuki suddenly placed her hand on my cheek. She drew her lips close. I felt like I was hypnotized with her beauty… I didn’t resist at all, instead, I was slowly closing my eyes…
But wait, what? I noticed a small cut on Yuki’s lips. I reach to it and press my finger on to the cut.
“Ouch!” she flinched.
“Eh? Is that… because of Miyuki?”
“Uuh… well... yeah… Okay, okay, it does hurt… A little…” she admitted.
“Would you mind telling me the story?” I gave her a concerned look.
“Uuuuuuh did you really have to break our sweet moment because of this?” She wailed like a little kid who lost her candy.
“B-baka! It won’t be sweet if you’d flinch because of kissing! Now hurry up and tell me how it happened!”

It was already midnight, and I don’t know what room she lives in, so I carried her to mine. As I reach my room, I unlocked it and gently put Mayu on my bed. After that I took a shower and a little walk to the garden.
As I was still gazing at the moon, I heard footsteps behind me. I turned back and found a young girl in her pajama’s looking at me with a cold stare.
“Kashiwagi Yuki” She called my name.
“Is something the matter?” I asked.
“Hey, have you seen my sister?”
“If you could give me some information about what she looks like, I maybe know”
“…Cute, twintails, hoodies with cat ears. And cute.” She answered as she stepped closer.
“Ara, is it Mayu? Then you must be Miyuki” I said with a smile. “Well aren’t you a cute-”
Slap!!
She suddenly slapped me. Seriously? Dude, we just met less than a minutes ago, and you’re suddenly hitting me? This kid is kind of pissing me off.
“…Great powers you have… But not powerful enough for me, of course” I mocked her.
SLAP!!!
Another slap, but this time, it really stings. I think I accidently bit on my lips. I hold on my cheek.
“…Ouch”
“Thank you” She turn away with a smirk and left.
“…The fuck?” I mumbled as I watch her vanishing in the dark._______________________________________________________________________
“And the end of story, Mayu.” She said to close her tale of being slapped by my little sister.
“I…Uh…. Um…” I was confused to reply. Seriously, Miyuki… did you have to do that? She’s our savior you know…
“It’s alright Mayu, there must’ve been a misunderstanding. Or maybe she had reasons.” She smiled.
“…D-does it still hurts?”
“Mayuyu, I’ve been fighting folktales and I’ve had many injuries. I’m alright, don’t worry about it.” I nod in reply.
I kept silence for a moment, then gave her a kiss in the cheek. “T-thank you….” I whispered.
Another silence grew. And this time, it was an awkward one. Uugh, that was embarrassing…
Yuki, who had a red face, look down. After about 5 minutes of silence, she suddenly mumbled something.
“….thing…me…friend…you…” She mumbled with a really low voice.
“Y-yah, I-I can’t catch on what you’re saying”
“M-Mayu …” She took a deep breath and looked at my eye. I could see her face getting redder, but at the same time, my face was also heating up.
“Y-You’re cheating, s-suddenly kissing me l-l-like that” she stuttered.
“W-whaa?? Y-You’re the one who first k-kissed me! And you were even about to kiss my lips!”
“Me doing the kiss and you doing it is different! A-and that’s because you’re too cute!!”
“B-baka!! You’re also cute you know!”
I quickly look down after realizing what I said. Uuh, this is getting more awkward…
A short moment of silence… then “M-mayu, I-I love you” Yuki suddenly confessed.
“Y-Yah! Where did that come from?? S-suddenly confessing like that…” I looked down, confuse on what to answer. Of course I’m happy, but to be suddenly dating… I took a quick glance, and I saw her still looking towards me. Uuh… Where did she get all those courage...?
“I-it came from my heart, of course” She replied with a soft but firm voice.
“…Baka… I love you too” I admitted as I buried my face to the crook of her neck.
“D-does it mean we’re…?”
“…lovers… you baka… Baka Yuki” I gripped on her shirt as I gave her another kiss on the cheek.
