The marimari TRIBUTE Project...

His legacy will never leave us, the posts and chatlogs are a reminder everyday. As Masa said: we should celebrate his life because marimari has given us nothing but positives. And that's how JPH!P rolls. July 30th will forever be engraved in JPH!P History:

What can we do to show KagoBon and the Bouvier Family plenty of JPH!P FAM love? (Thank you to KagoBon for ur address.) The family suggests donations to Make A Wish Foundation of America, 3550 N. Central Ave., Suite 300, Phoenix, AZ 85012-2127.

For sure, is the
marimari Tribute Radio Show

July 30, 2006 saw the Hello! Project fan community lose one of its favorite sons, marimari aka Kyle Bouvier. You may have seen his uploads on Hello! Online, Jpopmusic Forums, and JPH!P.  He has been so generous to the H!P online communities that I can guarantee you that there is at least one file there on your hard drive that came from his sharing.  If you have not already done so, please do take the time to send a message of support to marimari's sister, KagoBon, and his family in...
http://forum.jphip.com/showthread.php?t=4693

We plan to print out the thread and bind it, as a part of The marimari TRIBUTE Project
http://forum.jphip.com/showthread.php?t=4822

Like the projects we have done in past, we plan to have a radio show and IRC gathering.

The Marimari Memorial Radio Show will be on at 0230hrs (GMT) on Sunday, 13 August 2006, the timeslot when Hello!Ongaku is usually on-air on JPHiP Radio. marimari has given the H!P fan community a lot in his life as a H!P fan, and this show will be a joint effort by H!P fans to give back some of the love which he deserved. If you have or know of any other H!P fan that has experienced the goodness that is marimari, we invite you to come join us in this session of sharing and remembrance of a beloved common friend.

Submit any karaokes, song requests, and recorded/written messages to Ongaku! Project's Tris-chan and Rei-chan (at Ongaku Project Forums or JPH!P Forum) or JPH!P's Masa and daigong (at JPH!P Forum)

Tune in to the radio show at JPHiP Radio

Join the IRC Channel at #JPH!P @ SpaceTronix or if you don't have an IRC chat program, use Java Chat.

Submissions will be accepted until 11 August 2006 at 23:00 EST so act now!

marimari has affected us all in one way or other. I therefore ask that you spread this message to any other Jpop forum you visit or to any Jpop fan that you know of as quickly as possible. It breaks my heart to see KagoBon reading the marimari memorial thread over and over. Show her how much you care. I have already cross-posted this meessage in JPH!P Forums @ jphip.com, Hello! Online @ hello-online.org, LJ Communities: morningmusume + miracle_night

Show your support for marimari and promote this week's show. boykun has kindly made these banners for us to use.

Thank you for your support,

Don't forget to visit KagoBon's tribute site to marimari at http://www.xanga.com/bye_isnt_forever

(xanga blogs post in reverse order, latest at the top, so you need to go to 'next 5' at the bottom to see from the beginning)

Some of her words will make you cry, some will give you a very warm feeling - she sure knows how to express her thoughts in words, and I am personally so impressed by her maturity way beyond her years, and her depth of thought about her brother.

If you feel so inclined, you can also leave a comment in response to her posts - you have to join xanga, but that takes all of 20 seconds.  It's another way to pay your respects to marimari - and I have to say, I've been proud to be a part of JPH!P in the way so many people have poured out their thoughts and feelings.

And to KagoBon - thank you for sharing your special online place with us...  I know it must be SO hard to put down those ideas sometimes, but I for one have been very moved by a lot of what you've said.  Don't feel you have to keep posting every day though - what you've already said is plenty, so just add to it when you have something you just gotta share.  So...  just...  thank you!

I was planning to make another Risa OPV and using this song. It's an old song but it was revived by one of our local artists. The message is nice. Anyone heard this song before?

I'm putting together a karaoke tribute for marimari, and anyone who wants to join in is more than welcome! The song will be Never Forget. I know Purin expressed interest so I'm holding off the deadline till Thursday, but I will need it then since that's my only day off really, and so I'll use that day to mix.

Hey all,

As Daigong mentioned, the marimari tribute will be happening this saturday during Hello!Ongaku's regular slot. If you'd like us to play a song to dedicate to the memory of an awesome forum member, feel free to send it to any of the H!O hosts in addition to Daigong and Masa.

In addition, we will be taking live calls to talk about him, his memory, and what he meant to you. The recording will be sent to KagoBon and her family (via upload or CD if we're sending cards).

If you're unsure that we have a song or not, chances are if it isn't H!P, we don't have it. So be sure to upload it and send it to us, just to be safe! Please include your name, the song name and artist, and your message. We DO take anonymous dedications if you prefer not to have your name attached.

This is a very sad time for all of us. We've lost a dear friend; one of the premier members of the JPHiP family. But let's use this tribute show to remember happier moments. I'm sure that marimari himself would want us to try our best to be happy now, and remember the good times we had with him.

Absolutely. You can request anything you like (although we'd politely like to ask that if it's got profanity, that you get us a radio edit version.)

If it's H!P, we've probably got it on hand already (between all of us, we have every song by every act ever) and you just need to send us the name of the song, your name, and your message :)

And yes, I -think- this will be recorded. Not sure how or by whom, although I can if necessary. It'll just be huge ^^; (like, 100 mb+ huge)

The H!O shows (and I think all JPH!P shows) are always recorded by Obahsan. I always DL them the day after, which is when they're uploaded to the JPH!P server by him. :)

^ Yeah buddy. Recorded messsages is what I will do  too. :) Everyone with a mic, send them in....if you have written messsages, send em in too to siggy, radio masterminds Tris-chan, Rei-chan, me, Masa. We should have a meeting on IRC later this week to see what material we got :)

Of course, everyone tell a friend and tell them to TUNE IN 0230 GMT on Sunday. August 13. (9:30 PM EST Saturday August 12) Encore show at 0630 GMT Wednesday August 16 (1:30 AM EST Wed. August 16).
