This is so awesome! Finally a release. Although I was suprise to see it wasn't an Album or Single V Clips. I just hope that this single isin't Sakura Wa Raku Sa & Sakura->Nyuugashiki released as a new single. It's not impossible since this single is released the same date as the Sakura Mankai 2007 concert... I love those songs it's just that I would prefer them on an album so that we can get new and fresh songs. :D

Very beauty has actually grown on me very well! BUT I still want the new song to be totally different lol.
Something rocky, I mean both MM and biyuuden had rock elements in thier recent songs(ok yes MM more than biyuuden) or maybe something that could make a cool anime opening, i always love those type of songs.
Also I hope it's something where everyone gets a solo line or at least a duet line(poor Maasa and Saki haven't had any lines solo or duo since...waracchao and that was just one little line when the rest of the time they didn't really sing at all cept for 'aah's. I love that Chinami is gettin a push but where's Maasa and Saki's push.
I demand that if not the single, then the b-side has a Saki/Maasa large involvement(im not even asknig for a lead....just something T__T)

The first impression I got from the name was that it will be a Jiriri Kiteru/Special Generation, but only heavens know.
EDIT: Although now the "Kokuhaku" gives me sort of an Hawaiian feel... :P

I don't mind ballads and really like them sometimes even prefer them,
but I'd really like to hear a fresh, fast, energetic upbeat song now which has some more silent parts where wota can scream the names at concerts (so that you can hear them on DVD :p ).
An energetic performance would be nice as well x3

Someone mentioned this in the single thread at 2ch, too. It's Ikebukuro Sunshine City.
But I don't think funsui hiroba is a specific name for a place. It's probably just what's used to call that kind of fountain.

If I'm not wrong, Tsunku has produced every H!P cd so far. I don't see why he shouldn't produce this one as well. Most likely, he has also composed the songs. ^^

^Well, he composes and makes the lyrics for most of the songs. Some of the b-sides and album tracks aren't Tsunku sometimes.

Some A-sides (of other H!P acts) aren't composed by Tsunku either. The most recent one I can think of is Nacchi's latest single, which was a cover of some other song? But besides covers, there have been other composers too.
By the title, it doesn't seem to be an upbeat song. But then I shouldn't be judging a song by its name o_o. Hope it's an upbeat song! If not, a ballad that can make all of us melt :D

Awful. This song will kill the fourth album as much as Secret will kill Maki's next unless a new single fixes it, but that's another topic. About the song, I don't think their voices suit this 80's style at all. AKB48 has better songs of the same style, and I'm starting to think this is a reject that thankfully never made GAM 1st. Oh, and Miya annoys me more than she normally does. I'd only save the amazing M.Scarlet from the past four singles. Sad.

Listening to the rip (thanks tama-chan) for the 2nd time now, I really like this song. It has a bitter-sweet feeling which quite a few of my favorite Berryz songs have. Very nice in my opinion. Looking forward to seeing the PV. :D

It's a good song, but it lacks the power of their previous singles. It reminds of those old-school 80s j-pop ballads, which is a plus, for me.

I definitely don't hate it. It's not the best Berryz song I've heard by far... and maybe because I read all the comments and then listened I was expecting worse... but it's really not that bad for a slower song. My only problem is that it has too much Risako (but I don't really care for her anyway, so my opinion is way swayed).
I'm a little curious how those crazy orange outfits come into play, though. Those things are hideous.

Eh. It's not that bad. I was expecting a lot worse from the comments. I like the sound of the beginning, but I'm not too enthusiastic overall about the song. I agree that it sounds more like a b-side song.
I actually prefer Very Beauty at this point.

when i first heard it, the end of the first line sounded a bit weird, i think it didn't really match the melody
but after few listenings i think i like it.
the other part i couldn't hear at first was the two lines before the chorus, which almost killed my ears

Agreed with Mr. Positive for the most part, except no reason to drag the horror that is AKB48 or GAM's utterly forgettable collection of elevator j-pop into this for any sort of comparison.
But yeah, wow is this awful. Whenever I think that a Berryz song wouldn't sound any good even with decent singers, it's gotta be reeeally bad.

a bit repetitive and risako has her usual screechwail vocals, but it has a melancholy feel to it which is cool.
i love the way momoko sounds. in the midst of all the belting, the oasis of tsugunaga
(miyabi and yurina have good and decent voices, but still largely full blast. sorry miyabi...)
atm, i prefer miyabi in upbeat pieces. munasawa "arcade" and "ame ga furu" lines are some of the best in H!P history imo

i like very beauty better, as least its not as repetitive, and the outfits looks better.... btw WAT DAH HECK is with this single's outfits??? i can predict the dance is gonna suck... and, even as a Risako's fan, this song has too much risako in it (at the end)... i rather to hav very beauty with some off'ed notes then this boring thing, i mean there's no difference coz risako is pushing her voice in both songs

yea tsunku tackled shiritori and used 'impressionistic' as an excuse for the less-than-rational lyrics. he then put takahashi in the group so that people would think the lyrics were actually terrifically clever, since takahashi just gets it and noone will doubt her.

The songs still bores me. But it's a PV with a story, YEY GOOD CHANGES! I don't know, but the whole story looked like a telenovela o__o; haha, two "mature" Berryz PVs one after another, I guess UFA doesn't want them to portrait a childish image anymore.

I also love this PV, I think it's my new favorite. XD
I also think Miyabi looks really good in this one, for some reason she stands out to me. Risako puts alot of feeling into the PV, you really can believe the story. Everyone is getting so much better, though I'm kinda sad you don't see that much of Yurina and Maasa. :(

lol I love the recognition in here of the Miya/Risako love story. XD I didn't think a whole lot about it until the scene where Risako is sending the mail. Then, her and Miya's lines kind of overlap. For example, Miya is actually singing while Risako's sending the message... After that, I totally felt that pairing through the end, capped off by the mail flying toward Miyabi. ^___^ So sweet. Now, I'm sure that's not what was meant. The bird flew up and away after all. But it could very easily be seen, especially with all the other scenes of the two of them, that something is going on. Of course, we all love to think of that too. ;)
Something it doesn't seem no one's mentioned yet since the PV... Yay for Saki's hair! General consensus seemed to be that it looked horrible in the cover pics, but it's quite straight and nice in the PV. :) Maybe we won't see that craziness in anything but those pictures.
All in all: :heart:. I've already watched it several times...

I really liked this PV. The cutest thing was the rolled-up-shirtsleeves schoolgirls-in-summer-time look. The PV also had this nostaligic golden sheen to it, sort of like a warm late summer afternoon. It goes well with the slightly retro sound of the music.
My favorite lines:

Those are really really powerful lines. Miyabi's voice is stunning, and Risako's somewhat childish voice is perfect here.

After Very Beauty and Kokuhaku, this song is great...honestly!
I like kokuhaku, but i hate the high notes...this song is not painful vocally, so i guess i like this one better. And I love momoko's line...it's so amazing, and Miya is amazing as always. I hope that there's a lot of captain lines on this one...i don't even miss risako's voice :P
But please tsunku, enough with the ballads...just give them something really catchy like gyaruru :D rssss

Kumai says there's uncommon vocabulary. sugaya likes the happy ending. actually in kindai, a few of them list the last verse as their favourite part of the song. sudou says she had been reading romance manga to get the feel of the song but was still told to put more feeling into it. tokunaga says it sounds like a shouwa era song.

The outfits are cute. Everyone looks good. I usually don't like dancing in ballads, but the dance is great. The lighting and the colour are great. I'll probably end up watching this more than the original version.

I just love this song! It touched my heart...
I am really amazed by the dance-shot version. I think it's amazing. The dance is smooth and fits with the song. Plus, the girls look awesome in those outfits. Tsunku just needed to put a dress-theme for promotions, and in this case they're sort of bakery girls... whatever.
This song rocks. PV too. Dance-shot version too. :mon baby:

It needs 2.008 more copies to break SG's record. But it fell bad after the first 3 days and the event has already passed, so no motivation to buy it. :P It might take a while to reach that sales (if it ever).
