In this piece Japanese author 芥川 龍之介 / Ryūnosuke Akutagawa, and his short story,
entitled 玄鶴山房 / Genkaku Sanbō (Genkaku's Room) written in 1926, are
the focus.
Mahiro Kawamura does a good job in narration and she looks very beautiful.
Akutagawa had a short and serious life (1892-1927), but is considered the
Father of the Japanese Short Story.
To honor his friend, Japanese author Kan Kikuchi
(also a publisher and head of a film studio),
established the 'Akutagawa Prize' in 1935.
For promosing new authors, it is a very prestigous honor
in the Japanese literary scene.
