Li Yuchun (Also known as Chris Lee) was the winner of Super Girl in 2005 (Super Girl is like a Chinese version of "American Idol" - It is also the show Tsunku found Junjun in). Appearantly she also aims to be an actress after her film debut in 2009. According to IMDB she has played in two movies as of now.

Appearantly the season finale got a national record with 400 million viewers (nearly 1/3 of China's population). Li Yuchun's win came as a big surprise to many because she was so different from the "normal" girl's image, and she is now China's most famous tomboy.

Her first single was: "Sweetheart, I Love You" - Then she released "Happy Winter":  

I think her voice takes a little getting used to, but I like it. I especially like "Happy Winter".

The other cool thing about her is that she is often called Chun Ge (春哥) or "Big Brother Chun" because of her masculine image. There's a saying that goes "Believe in Brother Chun, and you shall pass all the exams!" and the friend that first told me about her said that it's popular on Chinese forums with "Chun Ge jokes" (like Chuck Norris jokes), but he didn't tell me any examples.

Yeah. Her first movie was released in 2009 Her IMDB profile is here. The first one seems to be some martial arts movie from the the trailer, and the second one (Supposed to release 22nd December) has Jet Li. So I hope we get to see some buttkicking Chun Ge in them!
