Mando-pop diva CoCo Lee recently took a photo shoot for Taiwan bridal magazine 'Character'.






The pop queen shared the dream of her fiancé popping the question the way as romantic as what only appears in films and said she would perfectly look after the proceedings of her dream wedding, according to an article on Sohu.com about the interview CoCo had with the mag.

However, the singer doesn't seem too eager for an immediate marriage, saying she would like to take time to decide on either marriage or childbirth.

For CoCo, work remains the focus of the next year and she is busy preparing for a world concert tour beginning next March.

Reputed to be the sexiest R&B queen in Asia, CoCo Lee was the first Chinese person to perform at the Oscars, singing the Academy Award nominee for Best Original Song, 'A Love before Time' from the movie 'Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon' at the 73rd Academy Awards.

A set of black-and-white photos singer CoCo Lee took for a fashion magazine recently shows the popular Asia pop diva in very elegant yet powerful poses.
 
The singer will kick off her comeback world tour concert 'CoCo's East to West' with its first stop at the Taipei Arena on March 27. Then, she'll be performing around China, in Malaysia, Australia (Sydney), Canada (Toronto) and the United States.
 
To keep her figure at the peak of perfection, the singer is now eating strictly according to her dietician's orders .

CoCo Lee released her last album 'Just Want You' in 2006. After that, she seemed to fade from the spotlight following reported disputes with former record label Sony Music.

She made a comeback in 2009 with her latest album 'East To West', released by Warner Music and her new company Music Nation.

Hong Kong pop star Coco Lee has now married 52-year-old business tycoon Bruce Rockowitz. Rockowitz is the President of Hong Kong's "Li & Fung Co.", one of the largest trading companies in Hong Kong.

After the ceremony, Lee spoke of trying to control her tears during the occasion.

"Today, before I was about getting ready to walk out, when the music started, my heart was racing. I was really, really nervous. I almost starting crying uncontrollably.　I held back (my tears) because I was afraid I will be a mess before I even walk out. I just want to be happy. Weddings are joyous occasions so I shouldn't cry."

Coco Lee, 36, was one of the best-selling female artists of the 1990s as well as becoming the first Asian to perform at the Oscars.

The couple met eight years ago at a party in Hong Kong and have been dating since.

Guests in attendance at Thursday's celebrations, that included a ceremony and subsequent Banquet, included American designer Tommy Hilfiger, owner of "Top Shop" Sir Philip Green, and casino mogul, Steve Wynn.

Lee wore a Vera Wang wedding dress that was lined with pearls and crystals, and a 3 metre long veil.

Following Thursday's more intimate proceedings, a second lavish wedding celebration will be held on Friday, with pop divas including Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce reportedly performing.

The wedding, dubbed by local Hong Kong press as the "Wedding of the Century", is estimated to cost 19 million US dollars and is reported to be the most expensive wedding that Hong Kong has seen.

Wow!! Congratualtions to CoCo and Bruce. I thought she had been married years ago- I remember reading about a Canadian businessman, and thought they had been married all this time. But no matter, she is an awesome singer, and really had quite a following in the US / Canadian market as well as lots of fans in Chinese speaking countries.

She will always be a favourite of mine, and in my mind, she sets the standard of what a diva should be, not only great voice and presentation, but takes a postive stance in using her fame to promote worthy causes.
