Obviously it's got old now, so here's a speculation thread for the next 3 years :w00t:
My guesses:
Ai Takahashi will no longer be in Morning Musume :cry:
Karin Miyamoto will be a member in a top H!P group (aka, not like Milky Way but more like S/mileage)
Yuukarin will release her 5th photo book
Kanon will release her 1st photo book
Konatsu Furukawa will still be a H!P Egg and will still belong to no actual music releasing group
C-ute will be a 4nin group and Chisato will still have no lead in any of their singles
Berryz Kobo will have undergone no member changes

there will be no h!p in 2013 o/

I feel there will be a new strong unit like momusu etc- but they won't be as promoted as S/mileage has been and therefore won't be too successful OAO

h!p and M-line will turn in to HPM48 o/

in 2013 TNX will be the new AKB and H!P will start doing Kpop style things
Maimi will turn soloist
Ai will start acting and hosting a videogames show
Aika is already graduated
10th generation will be pimped so much that will be kinda annoying

Perhaps Momusu will no longer be the main group?? ; 3 ;
I could see that happening- the most recent generations haven't really been pushed to the front or been the most popular- so maybe when the older members go another group (s/mileage?) will become the top group?

- Yuko Nakazawa would admit her lack of sexual life.
- Ai Kago would do AV.
- Rika will have a child !!!
- Chisato had to leave °C-ute because of a scandal. (chisataaaawwww T___T)
- Momoko will finish her studies in Germany, near a hipster well-known here.
- Sakitty would be Momusu leader.
- Miyabi could -maybe- release her second photobook.

- The 5th and 6th Gen Momusu are all graduated, Momusu no longer lead group in H!P. It is Berryz Koubou, yay! \O/
- Airi and Maimi going SOloist
- reviving the Unit W (Double U)
- Tsuji banned from Up-Front, because to much plastic surgery! (XD)
- Airi has her 8th PB released and the 9th is on the way!
- Miyabi has already released 3 PBs! (IMpossible, I know)
- MOmoko no more lead singer in Berryz and Captain go to Lead singer!
- Mano Erina is no longer in H!P but in Up-Front...
- Yuuka released 3 PBs and Dawa too <3
OMG! I could say more and more, but that's enough for now!

- All the H!P Kids will have had at least one PB, many even two
-Airi will surpass Takahashi as the PB queen of H!P
-ManoEri will be on hold and only putting out one single a year if she's lucky.

Also:
- Eri Kamei is still out of commission, so sister Rina signs with UFA and fills in. Other than the different first name, everyone else acts like nothing had changed, much to Rina's confusion.
- Yuko Nakazawa announces she's been married this whole time and had adopted a Nigerian orphan back in 2008.
- Aya Ishiguro's daughter joins Morning Musume, marking the start of a true 2nd generation.
- Mika Todd comes out of her shell and collaborates with Ai Kago in writing a tell-all book about their time in H!P.
- Reina Tanaka is still in Morning Musume.
- Actress Rena Tanaka signs with UFA just to troll everyone.
- Yurina Kumai finally tops out at 6'5". Mari Yaguchi responds by finding a way to become even shorter.
- Aya Matsuura finally starts recording new songs again, and they actually sell decent numbers.

- At least one H!P member comes out about being a lesbian.
- An effeminate boy passes the first round of auditions.
- Tsunku is caught having an affair.
- None of the current MM members are still in MM. (Ai, Risa, Sayu, Reina, Eri, Linlin, Junjun, Aika for future reference)
- MM undergoes another "style shift" back to an indie or rock style from idol-pop.
- Somone joins MM at 24, beating Yuko as the oldest member to join.
- Berryz and C-ute are "disbanded" but reshuffled into a new unit after multiple members graduate at once.
- 2 new permanent groups are made from eggs.
- A person leaves H!P and joins AKB or Idolling!!! or vice versa.
- Hangry and Angry is still around.
- A former H!P member joins a metal band.
- Ogawa Makoto marries an english-speaker.

In 2013 we'll be laughing back on how stupid we were to think that Tsunku might actually put a H!P Egg in Morning Musume for 9th gen.

in 2013,
- Tanaka will be MM leader,
- MM will have 15 members,
- Tsuji gets pregnant again, the 4th child,
- Mikitty get dirvoced :P (Let's hope not)

- MM will finally perform on the East Coast
- Yossi & Rika will announce to the world that they've been married since 2007.
- Tsunku steps down as manager of H!P
- Nakazawa Yuko becomes president of UFA and rules over all with an iron fist.

-In 2013 Ai-chan will be leader of MM. :) Reina will be the only other member that sticks to the group, leaving the spotlight for the 10 new members while she becomes a down-to-earth yet friggin hot sempai. OMFG :panic:
-A tradition of always having 1-2 Chinese members around will be kept.
-Berryz will have the same roster, their change into techno eurobeat dance numbers with a rapper guy actually pays off and gets mainstream supporters and continuously hits top ten.
-A romantic christmas song composed by Manoeri in 2012, sung by 2nd Gen S/mileage (now 7 members) becomes a huge hit and is rendered a classic of this decade. UFA fires Tsunku, and ManoEri subsequently takes his spot. :thumbsup
-Both Maimi and Airi have since graduated and become successful solo artists, that is until Airi and Daigo get married. ManoEri renames the group to X-R C-ute (Execute :roll:). The group's trademark ripped sweet-lolita dance costumes with skull patterns becomes a fashion craze due to media contraversy from some of the members being 10yo kids.

In 2013, HIP will decide to revoke all the past graduations and bring everyone back.

By 2013- Risa Niigaki's game show "Reaction Queen" is the hit of late night TV. The action is simple- guests are electrocuted, run over by steam rollers, locked into a kennel full of crazed weasels, whatever......basic premise is camera just shows Risa's shocked reactions, followed by her laughs and giggles and remarks like "ouch! that had to hurt"
Riho Sayashi becomes leader of Morning Musume after several more senior members mysteriously resign.....Riho will not give interviews to the "lamestream" media, because they are always asking "gotcha" questions like "but you were the last person that was seen with Aika, are you sure you don't know where she is?"
Erina Mano becomes spokesperson for Don Quixote, and continually does cosplay CM's shot live at the Roppongi branch.
Saki Ogawa sets a Guinness world record by giggling for 28 continuous hours on a H!P "making of..." video clip, of course by then YouTube has allowed YouTubers to post videos of up to 60 hours long.....
Maimi Yajima, after winning 12 gold medals at the London Olympics, as well as singing "Lonely Girl's Night" at a Command Performance at the Royal Albert Hall for the entire Royal Family, returns to Japan and takes up Sumo Wrestling because it is "tanoshii desu!!" She wins the Emperors Cup, and then sings a duet version of "Natsu DOKI Lipstick" with her defeated opponent Hakuho, in front of the cheering crowd.
Ai Takahashi's hit musical revue- "Thumbelina and the Banzai Bikini" sweeps the Tony Awards and at the award ceremony, she asks "Why are American portions so big? That's Crazy!!" to the thunderous applause of the audience.

by 2013 Reina has become leader of Momosu, everyone forgets other idol groups for Momosu. Nakazawa becomes President of UFA, H!P goes Yankii.
Eri and Reina start a new jrock group that becomes a hit, and Shige is one of japan's premier actresses, and Charmy owns all of this

2013 is more than halfway done...let's see how we did! I'm not sure which ones were actual serious predictions, but here are some that actually came true:

A romantic christmas song composed by Manoeri in 2012, sung by 2nd Gen S/mileage (now 7 members) becomes a huge hit and is rendered a classic of this decade. UFA fires Tsunku, and ManoEri subsequently takes his spot. - I'm marking this just for the successful prediction of a 2nd generation of S/mileage and the group having a 7-member roster at one point
