They could be ways in the future to prevent parents from evening thinking of a name like that, but the english language can make names sound funny.

LOL.

Parents should be more cautious when naming they're children and not because they think the name sounds cool.

I seriously don't get why parents name their children things like Gaye or Gayelord >_>

At least he changed his own name rather than burdening an innocent child with it.

Bloody hell, why did I not know of this thread?
I saw something on one of the CNN channels recently where they were talking to this couple about naming their child. I was curious as to why they would get on a national news station for it becuase, well you know, every expecting couple goes through the whole naming situation. Then after a few minutes my questions were answered when the father responds that his favorite suggestion was "Captain Amazing."(Ok I am a little hazy on the details and am in no way certain that is what it was, but I swear it was some sort of superhero related name that caused me to burst into tear inducing laughter.) Unfortuantely, and much to the father's dismay, they gave it some average name like Jason.

It seems that some countries are preventing future material as New Zealand authorities block couple's bid to name their new son "4real."
The name choice isn't that funny, but the reasoning is.
