Really like Kingyo no Hako!

It almost sounds like a lost track from Shiina's Shouso Strip album (which is still one of my top favourite J-albums of all time)

I've been listening to the album the whole day.. It's great. I really like the sound of this album. It's lacking that really strong ballad, though, but shiseikatsu is quite good. It feels like some early Shiina Ringo. I'm loving Izawa and Uki's playing on ramp and kingyo no hako. They're my favorites so far.

Kingyo no Haka is a bad ass song. Definitely my favorite track of the album and one of my favorite TJ tracks.

The album is really good, but it sort lacks the impact the other two albums and Shiina's albums had I think. The ballad thing probably has something to do with that.

But the variety of styles they were able to put in the album is really amazing. And they were able to put it in the album without one song sounding out of place. It was a really fun listen. I might even like it more than their other two.

I love how we got some vocal work besides Shiina.

I think the album really showed what the band can do, not only in playing, but in also making music.

Recently on Jpopsuki there were 2 Shiina Ringo Demotapes, "DEMO 1" & "DEMO 2" (as well as 2 songs from DEMO 3 and 1 song from DEMO 5). Until then I only knew of the first one, I never knew there were any more. I googled and found the tracklists of the other 3.

Does anyone have DEMO 3 4 or 5??
