Oh my dear god. It's been ages since I saw the original TRON, and all I could remember from it was disc throwing, bike racing and TRON-guy

... But I went and saw TRON Legacy today and was completely blown away. I'd purposely stayed away from reviews and such, so I had no idea Jeff Bridges was in it, omg anyway, what a trip! O,o anyone else seen it? I'm going to re-watch the original and then go see Legacy at the cinema again. The soundtrack is unbelievable, and watch out for funky cameo appearance by Daft Punk themselves in the film!

OK so I stumbled into Tron Legacy because someone uploaded the whole thing to Youtube so figured I might as well give it a shot! I remember trying to watch the first movie a couple times but just never could get through for whatever reason, although I liked the style. Plus I hadn't really followed the new one closely. There didn't seem to be much hype and the reviews I had noticed seemed meh.

I gotta say it was really surprisingly great! O_O The action scenes were some of the best I've ever seen and the movie is a visual and auditory feast (I really need to get the BR for a second watch so I can really see the splendor) The pacing was near perfect and the premise and story were good enough to keep me hooked. I really want to see some more movies in that kind of electro-cyberpunk universe.

Oh and the girl that kicks butt, Olivia Wilde I guess is the actress? Is so damn HOT in this movie. I had never heard of her before. The one complaint would be CGI Jeff Bridges is creepy as hell.

old thread but i wanna give my thoughts on the movie the trailer looks cool but when i went to watch the movie it isnt as good as what i was hopping for and tron is hardly in there hes not the main protagonist
