I find it interesting that the 21st perfect game happened on the 21st day of the month. Heh, 2 perfect games pitched for the White Sox in 3 years is pretty good. Mark Buerhle was probably watching or listening to the game somewhere in Miami and smiling.

Anywho, would it be safe to say that the Dodgers have some magic?

I gotta admit it was cool for the Angels to have a shutout by the Jerome Williams, capped by Weaver's no hitter, and now Haren has to get blown up or get the perfect game. Just saying

Then again Philly/Atlanta was a great game in itself for 28 runs in extra innings

Although for being early in the season, it has been entertaining that the perennial losers are leading at the moment only to fall when the summer comes along but we may never know if they are for real or not...

Brutal times for Twins fans now. How will Gardy spin his managerial magic without 2006 Mauer/Morneau in the lineup?

Being stuck at work during MLB prime time sucks: following Wednesday's nuttiness via Twitter and CBS game tracker wasn't as compelling.

But how GREAT is baseball: Worst Umpire Call in 2012, 40-year-old vets walking off, no-hitter in Orange County, and Doc Halladay getting roughed up after getting decent run support, not to mention Papelboner rotting in the pen while Joe Schmoe gave up the go-ahead run in the 8th inning. Something for everybody!

I feel like I'm on Cloud Nine or something after watching all 27 outs of Matt Cain's perfect game. But it had to happen some time. He flirted with one earlier this season (damn you James McDonald) as well as for like a hundred other times. If this doesn't earn him an All-Star and/or Cy Young, I don't know what will.

Awesome performance. I watched the last three innings of the Cain Perfecto on MLB-dot-com at work, severely hampering any ability to get shit done.

Remarkable command. Got a few good calls but also left a few pitches up in the last couple innings that just weren't nailed and got a huge assist on that amazing Blanco catch in the 7th. What's the line, I'd rather be lucky than good...
