Mary and Max is an upcoming stopmotion claymation feature film directed and written by Adam Elliot. The voice cast Toni Collette, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Eric Bana. The film premiered on the opening night of the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.

The film tells the story of the unlikely pen-pal friendship between Mary, a chubby lonely 8-year-old girl in Melbourne, Australia, and Max, a 44-year-old, severely obese, Jewish man with Asperger's Syndrome living in New York.
