Shinoda Mariko attends press release for wedding dress brand ‘Love Mary’

On April 8th, AKB48’s Shinoda Mariko attended a press release for her wedding dress brand, ‘Love Mary‘.

During the event, Shinoda was asked about her own marriage. She responded, “I don’t really have a desire for marriage, but maybe I will when I’m in my 30s?” and continued, “I don’t have any new encounters in AKB48, so I will go to a place where I can meet new people in my 30s.” Then, she was questioned about the group’s love ban to which she answered, “I wouldn’t expect there to be one in my 30s…”

While wearing a pure white wedding dress she produced herself, Shinoda said, “It’s my dream to get married in a dress I designed myself.”

Shinoda’s new dress collection will be available for rental at ceremonial halls and dress shops nationwide this fall.
