PORTAL

It's out, it's awesome, and I wanna know what everyone else thinks.  Also, I'd love to see people's stats for the challenge maps as far as how many gold/silver/bronze placements you've got and how far past the gold requirement have you been able to get on certain chambers.  Any other funny/cool videos you guys make are welcome as well.

Chamber 14
Least Time
Bronze: 50 Seconds
Silver: 20 Seconds
Gold: 10 Seconds
My Best: 8 Seconds (Video)

Have to say that the Orange Box looks like an amazing value for money, and Portal looks like it would be worth the retail price alone.

Penny Arcade FTW

I'd say Portal is a bit some to be worth it on its own. That said, it's a fantastic deal. I've been playing through Half-Life 2: Episode 2. It's amazing how well the Source engine has held up over the years. It still looks as good as FEAR, STALKER, and Bioshock and better than BF2142 and Quake Wars.

Of course the Orange Box is drawing my away from my Wii for even longer...

Finished Portal today, such a great game really hehe. I can't say anything about it though cause even the smallest thing I say would spoil it for people who haven't played it. So go play it!

Finished portal today as well, wow, it's really great.
The story just sort of. . . goes off into nowhere.  It's definitely worth it!

Yeah, I've had it on repeat on my my last.fm for awhile.  I cracked up the first time I heard it.  My brother's like "THERE'S A REAL NEAT SONG AT THE END", but this is like the best ending ever.  XD  There's also some pretty interesting stuff on Youtube about it, such as the voice files ripped..  I wanna find the turret files ripped though T___T

Yahtzee reviews the Orange Box (and Portal).

Wooww.. I've never seen him have nothing bad to say about a game before.  Portal ftw

Just completed it today. Best ending ever!

**SPOILER**

I was equally pumped up racing against the timer and yet was laughing myself silly ('If you love that thing so much, why don't you just go marry it?', the orange orb speaking). And then the ending song came on and that just sealed it's greatness. Haven't tried any of the advanced maps or challenges yet. Might update this post later at some point.

EPIC BUMP!

Portal 2 has been indirectly hinted at in an awesome way. Via PC updates, they've added just a lil bit more to the ending:

Quote
Not content with teasing us last night with something potentially Apple-related, Valve has also added more tease to Portal.

The latest PC patch for the developer's excellent first-person puzzle game claims it has "Added valuable asset retrieval" - another cryptic description following on from last week's transmission business, which left players scrambling around the game with a radio listening for information.

Following some lightning internet detective work (collated by Rock, Paper, Shotgun - thanks chaps!), fans have uncovered a new end sequence, already on YouTube. It's worth having a watch and listen. What does it all mean? The obvious conclusion is that it's the long-awaited Portal 2, but Valve is likely to keep on teasing until we can't bear it any longer.

Valve's super-secret E3 surprise turns out to be a bit of crow-munching in the form of Portal 2, its geometry-bending shooter, for Sony's PlayStation 3.

The anticipated sequel to Valve’s space-bending puzzle game Portal will not emerge from whatever dimension it is currently trapped in until 2011, the publisher said today.

GAAAABE! Sucks for another year's wait, probably, but the trailer looks to seriously expand on what the first Portal offered. :hump:
