When I first heard this news I thought she was leaving NGP so I feel better now I've realised she's not.
We should still see her at the big NGP concerts and the stage plays

I have to say her acting skills were one of the things that really attracted me to her. In the 4th NGP stage play(the girls' school choir) she played her part amazingly well.

I'm doing a proper starting post this time because CC doesn't seem to have a lot of fans :3

CANARY CLUB

Canary (or Canaria) Club is a TNX unit and a part of Nice Girl Project. TNX is Tsunku's company and Nice Girl Project is TNX's equivalent to Hello! Project.

Canary Club started with 9 members, but one of them left completely (Riho Sugiura) and another quit the group to continue other activities in NGP (little Eriina).

What sets Canary Club apart from other idol groups? They have some members with cute voices, but the main vocals go for the members with lower, more mature and strong voices. Because of this their vocals sound refreshing if one is used to the high-pitched H!P stuff. They even have vibrato!

The current members are:

"Ogamana" Mana Ogawa (16), the most visible member. She has a very strong voice and releases solo material.

"Ayubee" Ayumi Takada (24 going 25), the oldest member. She is very short and a very energetic dancer. Her voice is strong and she has many lines.

"Macchan" Yurie Matsui (21), one of the oldest members who also has many singing lines.

"Mikkii" Mikiho Niwa (19 going 20). One of the girls with less lines, but cute and lovely.

"Ikucchi" Ikuko Ooura (19 going 20). Not as strong a singer as the rest, but a cutie.

"Okkyan" Reiko Okada (16). Short and not as thin as the other girls, has freckles.

"Ucchii" Yuma Uchida (14 going 15). Adorable!

^ Thansk a bunch for the links and vids, right now I know virtually nothing about CC and I haven't had much inspiration to look into them too much. Since they are the chocie for GoW I'll make it my own perosnal mission to find as much stuff about them and by them as I can and at least then I can make a proepr judgement. Thanks again for posting this stuff up, you've done a great job of rpeople to get started on them, myself included.

Time to get to work then.

My Canary Club story: I randomly listened to their SWEET & TOUGHNESS single and checked out everything they've released since
My favourite CC member: Ayubee & Okkyan

My favourite CC song: Hitomi ga Kirakirara or Doukyuusei
My favourite thing about CC: the girls are really talented and I like that the leads have more mature voices

also to note I love how I can actually attempt to sing CC songs, being an alto with a small range(not trained) H!P songs can be so difficult for me >_<

I also love forever~anata ni aitai~, especially the version with Macchan playing the guitar live.

i must admit that i listened to probably all the songs... a lot of them in any case but i don't have any favorite or do know anything about the members... btw the songs sound is SO H!P style, obviously Tsunku is involved... is that a bad or a good thin? coz seems like a very under idol group (lol that sounds funny)

My Canary Club story: I tried to avoid knowing them for quite a while because I thought I liked enough many girl groups, but I guess that because they kept being promoted with The Possible and they're cute girls, it was only a matter of time till I'd give in. I'm still only a casual fan, but I do like watching them at NGP concerts. Even got one of their bikini DVDs once, but unfortunately it was the kind I don't like so I deleted it. lol D:
My favourite CC member: Difficult to say because I don't really know their personalities well enough... lol Maybe I'll say Okkyan as well, there's something likeable about her :3
