Ha ha, it's so lonely in here!
Well, oddly enough, Nishi is actually my current favorite. o.o I have no idea how it happened, but I saw her in Glory Days and she completely stole my heart. I think there's something so relaxed and charming about her. I also love seeing pictures of her and Jurina on their blogs, they're too precious for words. ;A;

She really fascinates me in that way. I'm still pretty new to SKE, so I'm only just starting to figure everyone's niches out, and she sort of... doesn't have one. XD She's kind of all over the place. I think that's really unique, and that's one of the reasons I like her so much.

If you could change one thing about her, what would it be? I wouldn't really change anything, but I kind of wish she had a stronger 'image'; maybe that would gain her some popularity in SKE and allow her to be in more senbatsu positions..
What would you like to ask her? I'd honestly love to have a conversation with any of my favorite idols about what working in the industry is like; frustrations, things that are gratifying, worries she might have about her future. It would be great to hear about this kind of stuff away from a scripted Q&A setting where you always get the same, predictable answers. I'd also love to know more about her pre-idol life and the experiences that led to her audition, as well as how it felt being moved to SKE and that sort of thing.
How would your ideal date with her look? Something laid back and outdoors, I think. :heart:

I remember in Kuumin's episode of Mousou Deka, she said something like 'I don't regret being born a woman but all that girlishness doesn't agree with my nature but you wouldn't understand' and Nishi agreed.
So I don't know if that was on purpose or whatever but that was interesting since she was all up on wanting to be more girly.
Funny how their dramas tend to reflect on some of their own worries.

Nishi is an interesting one for sure. Even though she is the boyish girl in SKE48, she does not have the same sort of appeal like Sae for example. She does not make all the SKE girls fall in love with her, at least not in the same way Sae can.
Every time I see Nishi (Mousou Deka, concerts, etc) she tries so hard to be girly, even up to a point where it feels like she is mocking herself? I'm wondering if she lacks confidence and what type of girl she really wants to be.
Did Nishi ever appear in an SKE PV? I can't remember seeing her at all... Sorta sad. I think a lot of people don't realize she was a 4th (!) gen AKB48 kenkyuusei! So she's been around for a long time now, but never really had a chance to promote herself.

Okay I have a question, if anyone's willing to answer this but why is Nishishi in the revival of A4? I'm a little confused.

Nakanishi is a 4th generation AKB48 kenkyuusei. As such, she may have performed A4's songs at the time and they decided to include her in the revival? I'm not 100% sure, but that could part of it.

Whenever I watch videos of AKB's commentaries that involve SKE or Nishishi is in the performance, most of the time they end up talking about her and it makes me wonder what's Nishi's relationship with some of the AKB members? Especially since she was a 4th generation kenkyuusei. Like @1:19, Sae brings up her name but that shouldn't be surprising since Sae is known to be pretty friendly with the RS.

Who cares about the rank, honestly, the fact that you were finally given this opportunity and being able to see that smile on your face means so much more than a mere number.
I cannot tell you how happy I was to hear your name being called and seeing you stand up and walk towards the stage. I was a mess really. lol
Seeing how happy you were made me so damn happy for you and even though everything still feels like a dream, I might go through this day with a daze and constantly replaying that moment for awhile and tear up because of it. as a akb kks, she had to perform as a team b under. a nickname - which she hadn't - was needed for wasshoi b. nobody had good suggestions so akimoto sayaka randomly came up with chun chun basing it on the fact that the mahjong tile with the 中 from nakanishi 中西 on - that usually reads as "chuu" - is calld chun.

Nakanishi-san was first in AKB48, then coming to SKE48, and has always been the supporting one of the members, yes?

I can still remember when I first started showing interest in you but I still couldn't believe how much I grew to love you or that it was possible to love you more than I did before. You're an amazing person and seeing how much you work hard makes me want to do the same, you make me want to become a much better person and you've helped me want to strive for more.
Last year, you were able to do and experience many things, I couldn't have been more happier or prouder when during the elections and your name was called. Seeing how grateful you were and happy and your smile, I just lost it.

It’s posts like these that I understand why she feels like this, over-thinking is also something I do.
Last year’s election must of been more than a dream or achievement for her, just from the way she reacted, you could tell she never thought she would be up on that stage so it was a really a outstanding moment for not only SKE fans but Nishishi fans.
So, seeing how she feels like she hasn’t achieved enough as a SKE member yet makes me see that she really does love being an idol and performing and considering the things that had happened at the start of this year (from the grads to her personal ones) and maybe finally performing at Kouhaku, maybe Nishishi feels like she hasn’t pushed herself enough.
Nishishi always works hard, whether on stage or any other work, but if she’s not satisfied with the 110% she’s already putting in, I wonder what she’s gonna start doing to double that.
I hope she doesn’t wear herself out but I’m excited to think of what she plans to do.
No matter what, I’m gonna always cheer for Nishishi and know she works hard no matter what.
I’m sorry for babbling on so much but Nishishi just fills me up with so many emotions….

I've been worried a lot about Nishi lately since she's relatively been quiet and guess I was right since awhile back she admitted to having injured either her back or her hip during Gaishi Hall concert and it got bad enough that she's been going to the hospital for physical therapy. ; __;
But she says she's almost at 100% so I'm not too worried, especially since she's really not the type to overwork herself and knows when to step back and rest. I just hope she takes care of herself.
And on another note, Nishi ranking in the prelim. at #30 is amazing, she jumped super high since last year and her early votes increased by 8 times, tho wih comparing the final votes from last year in UG, I'm not sure if she'll maintain her rank, hopefully she'll at least rank in NG tho. u ____u
But she's very greatful tho.

I’m only now starting to understand the weight of these words.
Before Nishishi became leader, there have only been reports from other members and fans (sometimes staff) about how kind, helpful and reliable Nishishi was. Nishish isn’t the type to write up on things herself, which is why before it was hidden but now that she has to uphold PR, it’s becoming more and more obvious of how she truly cares about the group and the members and it makes me so happy because THIS is the reason why she’s captain, this is why they decided Nishishi was to become leader after Rikki’s leaving.
Because she was already a leader from the start.
If you didn’t know it, in the very beginnings of SKE, Nishishi used to be one of the pushed girls, mainly because since she had to most experience and I can’t exactly remember who said it but one of the members mentioned how Nishishi helped lead them during the early days/S1.
Even after she was regulated to the back row, she never stopped being a leader.
I guess the point I’m trying to make is, Nishishi (just like Rikki) worked behind the scenes helping everyone but now it’s more open because of her position as Leader and Captain, and it makes me happy because it’ll be more known how much she really helps and explains to anyone who wondered why she was granted this position in the first place. Because Nishishi isn’t one to brag or boast about herself at all, she’s so quick to brush off compliments, she posts more about other members than about herself, she pushes and coaches and guides other members to work harder.
She is a kind, reliable and wonderful leader.
And I’m happy that it’s becoming more out in the open.

SKE48's Nakanishi Yuka & Sato Mieko announce their graduation from the group
December 24, 2014
SKE48's first generation members, Nakanishi Yuka (25) and Sato Mieko (28) will be graduating from the group at the end of March 2015.
They made the announcement during the team S performance held at SKE48 Theater on December 24.
Nakanishi originally passed AKB48's "the First Kenkyuusei Audition" held in May 2007, and joined the group as a 4th generation AKB Kenkyuusei. She was then transferred to SKE48 in August 2008.
Nakanishi has been the leader of Team S, as well as the captain of the whole SKE since April of 2013.
On the other hand, Sato who is the oldest member of the whole 48 group, passed the "SKE48 Opening Member Audition" in July 2008. She was once demoted as a Kenkyuusei in February 2009, but returned as a regular member in May of the same year. She is currently serving as the sub-leader of Team S.
Sato revealed that she would belong to a new agency, and continue talento activities and music activities in the Tokai region.
With the girls' graduation, there will only be 3 first generation members (Matsui Jurina, Matsui Rena, Oya Masana) remaining in SKE48.
