AKB48 upcoming 44th single title has been revealed, it will be Tsubasa wa Iranai (翼はいらない), it will be released on 1 June 2016.

The CENTER of the single will be Team K member Mukaichi Mion (向井地美音).

IMO, it's hard to sound worse than Bokutachi, but they managed with Green Flash. This one isn't that bad. I'd rate it "mostly harmless".

The problem with these songs (Green Flash and Tsubasa wa Iranai) isn't that they're bad... It's just that they're generic/bland/forgettable.
And wow I can't believe you hate Bokutacos :(

I am very happy for Mion chan, she was prominent in the single and the team K song....

When I first heard the song, honestly yeah it was slow but it isn't the overall feel but screenshots give off a different view of it and even if I don't like it as much as I should... it is a voting single and in many ways VOTE or DIE!!!!

I may not get too many this time around because of money (and really want to go to Japan next year :))

So, I don't like it when people give it off on first try but it seems nice to know the title gives off meaning. Green Flash was a different story (I didn't like it whatsoever) Agreed with manatzukkyun, many are bland and forgettable so lucky I can enjoy a bit more of the sister groups more than anything else :3

Can't wait to listen to the full song! It also made me realise how gorgeous the Team A front members (Sakura - Kojiharu - Yuihan - Paruru - Annin - Mirurun) are :inlove:
Team K's song isn't bad, but it's just not my kind of song... The PV is gorgeous though.
Team B's PV is RIDIC.
Not much to say about Team 4/Team 8's songs, they were both pretty boring and generic. At least it's cool that Team 8 has a new center/front, I like Ikumin but Nanami, Naru/Yuiyui definitely deserve a chance too. Also it's cool that Rinrin got promoted to 3rd row. Happy to see her along with Yokochan and Hijirin.
