I'd be really happy though if it was morning coffee, I really like that song. Maybe with a new arrangement he can make it sound like a more recent song.

I also think it's good for new fans so they can discover the original morning musume in some way!

I think it's nice to make it Morning Coffee. They made a new version of the song as a sort of 5 year thing as the b-side for souda we're alive, so it makes sense to do another one to commemorate 10 years. Instead of just a b-side they made it something they can sell to the wota. As long as there's something different... no more damn just adding in different vocals. Atleast something along the lines of what they did for b-sides of the gumi singles.

Really, though, Anniversary Specials are usually made to remember what has happened in the past and get all nostalgic and crap, there's no need to make a new song for something that only fans would buy anyways. It would be nice if it were more like a mini-album though. But of course they'd need to spend more money on that >_>

I also think that, if it's true, it is not that bad of a decision. However it's not like Sony Music reported it, but someone says Sony Music did. Then, it could be all made up... at first the release dates were not confirmed and now they are. However, I'd take it with a grain of salt, it's still a rumor.
