Symantec Antivirus - free because my mother works for the state.

But I'm thinking about going over to Microsoft Security Essentials.... I hear it is good.

I use Antivir because it has a very high detection rate as shown by the tests conducted by av-comparatives.org:

Nod32 all the way. I work on computers alot, and am shocked at some of the big names not being able to catch stuff. Norton is one I avoid. Another one I like is Avira. It is free, and does a great job.

Just tried out DR Web, and I am quite impressed. Really cool it does more than viruses like spyware and such. I'll have to put it through the test to find out, but so far so good. The only problem i'm finding so far is that the scan time is VERY long. Other then that, so far so good.

I only have experience with BitDefender, but it has never let me down and I've only heard good things about it. Also heard that Kaspersky is a good one.

LOL I read u can't use two at the same time cuz they'll conflict.

I'm using AVG for a few weeks now, not bad on this shitty old desktop (256MB memory). Norton failed me many times!!!

I've officially made the switch over to Microsoft Security Essentials.

I've also heard Panda Cloud Antivirus is good.
