The announcement of pre-order for AKB48 live concert "AKB48 in TOKYO DOME ～1830m no Yume" 

Here we announce that the detail about pre-order and schedule of the live concert  which will be held from Aug 24 to 26.

"Some day, we'll hold a concert in Tokyo dome". Members have been sweating everyday with this keyword in their mind for 6 and half years. They smiled a lot, they cried a lot. The distance between AKB48 theater and TOKYO Dome is only 1,830m. It's very close, but....... it was very far away.

Takahashi Minami put it into this word, "This is the start line that we've finally reached after 6 and half years."

Thanks to you all, they could keep holding their dream. Because you've been here, supporting girls, they could never give up moving forward. We are sincerely grateful to all of you!!

And finally, it's time that we can announce this to you....!!

We already got 'nothing happens' at SKE48 Haru con 2012. Considering this is a huge moment for AKB48, with massive press, I think we will definitely get various announcements. New era and all.

Let's see:
- We have 6 promoted AKB48 KKS without a Team.
- We have 6 open spots in SKE48
- We have a whopping 28 AKB48 KKS and 21 SKE48 KKS
- We have 34 HKT KKS

Predictions:
- Two girls get promoted into Team A (Acchan and Sasshi's spots)
- Various SKE48 promotions, but no full shuffle.
- Team 8? Too soon?
- Team E Original Stage announcement
- Some new CM deal.

Anything can happen as long as Yuko-sama stays in AKB... If she graduates... I will support her, but still... I think it's a bit too early for her.
Now there is that question about the shuffles and promotions.. I hope Juri goes back to SKE and Milky to NMB, though I also like them in AKB, but they belong with their groups

This one I think the most likely to happen, maybe part of an effort to make her as the new AKB48 center / ace but I really hope this won't happen 'cause I think Jurina definitely belongs to SKE48 and SKE48 only and I really want her to stay as that group's member until she decides to graduate

By the way, I heard some rumors that the sister groups will also hold a concert at Tokyo Dome. Is this true? I thought this concert is for AKB48 exclusively, not involving any of its sister groups. In my opinion, they don't deserve a Tokyo Dome concert yet. The reason I said this is because :

• They haven't had the image of a qualified artist / performer yet. IMO, none of them have surpassed the greatness of their oldest sister yet. They need to sell more records or receive good reception for their songs or performances from people before they can perform there.
• It's too early for them. They have only stood as a group for two to four years and I think that's too fast for them to perform there. But if they're able to make big, significant things happen in a short time, I don't mind if they hold a concert there the following year or two.
• They haven't gone through the hard times that AKB48 has to reach this ultimate goal. AKB48 has to pass 6 years, 8 months and 16 days with extreme hard work and many unpleasant moments while building their image as a qualified artist / performer in order to fulfill their dream to perform there. It's just weird and unfair (especially for first-gen members) that the sister groups haven't done as much and hard as AKB48 but are allowed to perform at one of the greatest arenas in Japan, the ultimate dreams of many Japanese artists / performers.

I have a feeling this is true and I know it's too late to say this since the concert is only two days away lol. I'm sure decisions regarding which group will perform have been made. Let's see if the concert will involve the sister groups. And if it's true, I do hope AKB48 will have much more on-stage time than their sister groups' since IMO, this concert is for AKB48 only. Let them feel the extreme happiness and joy -the ultimate result of their long and extreme hard work- while entertaining their fans at Tokyo Dome, a moment that will always be remembered by them and fans as AKB48's greatest.

The distance of 1830M, which may seem so near but was yet so far that it took 7 years to reach, has finally reached ZERO!
And the wonderful AKB members have taught us one more lesson that it is ok to see a dream. Even if it may take a long time like 7 years, but if you work hard for it, you can definitely make it come true

Remaining 1st and 2nd gen? That's just impossible. If that happens, AKB48 will surely go sharp downhill and consequently, become hard for them to climb again.
 
I don't think the remaining 1st and 2nd gen member will graduate / announce graduation within, at least six months after Acchan's graduation since it is already heart-breaking and hard for fans to accept. Fans need to 'recover' from the grief caused by Acchan's departure to take another important member's graduation so I kinda think it's just crazy if a member from 1st / 2nd gen graduates / announces graduation not long after this concert.

Not only the fans but AKB48 itself. They need to rebuild the group due to the departure of Acchan, who for many people, is AKB48. This I think, causes public interest in the group go down, and if they haven't done rebuilding the group yet another 1st / 2nd gen member graduates / announces graduation, yeah, it's hard to describe this but the point is, it's gonna be very bad.

Well, just think positively and I'm sure we can still enjoy the presence of 1st / 2nd gen members in the group for months or maybe even years to come.
