^ No, it's not released on DVD.

As your post says, it's from the 120309 Team B performance...
They were doing "Theater no Megami" at the time, but Give Me Five is a bonus song after the standard stage songs. Around that time, all the AKB48 Teams were performing live versions of Give Me Five in the theatre, and they are well worth checking out.

How do I know if I have the right tickets for the handshake events? I've attended a couple and I keep ending up with the wrong ones. I plan on going to the July 7th event in Makuhari Messe.

The July 7th event is an individual member/Theatre Edition handshake event:

You buy tickets for these events at: http://akb48.chara-ani.com/
You have to book a specific timeslot for a specific member. Each 10 second ticket costs 1,000 yen and comes with a Theatre Edition CD and a photo.
There are very strict timeframes on buying these tickets, and they are normally sold in many rounds.

The handshake ticket you have there in that picture is a ticket to the Sayonara Crawl national event/Limited Edition handshake events. They announce when these events are on the official blog. For example, here's an announcement for a Sayonara Crawl national event handshake they've already held in Osaka: http://ameblo.jp/akihabara48/entry-11559758885.html . They might have held others already. They tend to post the member line-up for these handshake events quite close to the event on the official blog.

Thanks! You saved me a 1.5+ hour trip. At least I know the process now so I won't make this same mistake again. Guess I'll just have to make the next one. Sucks I wanted to see Tomochin and Mariko sama before they graduated.
