this may be a stupid question but i just wanna ask.  exactly how popular is Morning musume and H!P outside of japan? anyone knows? Morning Musume is one of Japan's most popular all-girl group and somewhere they mention that they have a substantial following outside of japan, but to what degree? for example, does anyone knows how many of their sales are outside japan and internet sales like on amazon.com and yesasia.com. of course probably their sales won't give us an exact measure of their popularity( i believe their more popular than what their sales indicate, even in japan,  but it'll give me an idea.

if anyone have any idea or related-info whatsoever, please do share.

In Singapore, out of 10 J-pop fans, 8/10 knows the existence of MM, 6/8 knows the existence of Hello Project, 4/8 knows most of the name of the members of MM and only 1 or 2 keeps up daily with MM stuffs.

Roughly of course :D

I'm sure most of you have seen this.

Who is that crazy keyboardist?
He's waaaay too into the song, with his crazy dancing
and what's with the maraca hat?
Is he the old Sharan-Q keyboardist? I think he is the original one.

I think this is the only time in 10+ years I've ever seen this guy, ever.
And the first time in a H!P Video I'm pretty sure.

For the last week I've had him in my head and must have watched that
video about 30 times..

I have a new hero, and he is crazy keyboard maraca man.
Perhaps they have just let taisei out of some sort of institution.

I also noticed that he's just keyboard syncing.. (sort of like lip syncing)
About the time the weird hat comes out he's just gliding his hand over the
keyboard.

If you haven't see this clip yet you have to see it,
it's probably the funniest thing in any MM performance that
wasn't a skit, short of Kaori falling down all those times
during that rainy concert.

Yeah.

I wasn't 100% sure because I've only seen him in shades. I guess it's him.

I wonder if he has any solo stuff the guy seems crazy.

You could check out Cubic Cross with Ichii Sayaka.  He produced her band, as well as played keyboard in it.
He's also in several other Uta Doki episodes, doing some crazy stuff in those as well.

He's also shown up without his shades as MC during the 2006 Elder Club concerts.

They air on TV Tokyo at 12:53 am on "Weekdays". Japanese TV schedules consider until about 2 am to be the day before still, so it's really Tuesday-Saturday at 12:53 am

Yeah, they're up to Vol. 8 now, but Vol. 8 was released with one for each member instead of one group one.

From what I've read, it's not so much a game as a bunch of clips with a 3d interface.  That 360-degree Dance Suru no Da video came from that game as part of a PV "editing" gadget where you could pick what angle you wanted and save it.  That kind of game was pretty short-lived.  I can't comment too much on rarity or value, but it's definitely a collector's item.  There's some reviews of it in English, but they're all from people generally outside of H!P fandom.

I know there are some, but the only one I can recall being left-handed is Yui.  I think at least one of the Melons is too.

Thanks Slack for answering my question on Space Venus.

Another question that's been bothering me. Sometimes on Ebay I see these concert DVDs (for instance one with a MM concert) and it says "Taiwanese version, region free". Is that legit? What's the difference with the Japanese version? They seem to have the real covers and such.. they are 1/4 the price they are at sites such as cdjapan, yesasia etc.. The sellers seem to have 300+ positive feedback, so they can't be that bad right? So are these official HP releases?Help me out here :) thanks
