The 2010 Morning Musume calendars are announced and so are the AKB48 ones! I figured one thread for previews, scans, etc would be easier than posting them all over the place. I'll add the links of various stores as they become available.
This seems like an excellent year!! Take your pick! No Yukirin though, but I can't complain. Release date: 16 October!

So, who do you like?
At the moment I'm thinking:
Kojima Haruna: 75% chance of getting it
Oshima Yuko: 15% chance
Kasai Tomomi: 15% chance
but maybe I'll break and get the Acchan one :lol:

If I have the money, I would buy Kojima, Sato, Maeda, Miyazaki, Oshima, and Kasai calenders.

Damn there's some good chociees there, kind of gutted there's no Takamina again though. :(
I'm not worrying too much about prices as hopefully I can get this as a present for Christmas from someone again! :p

edit: Actually, I remember some horror stories from people's calendars getting damaged during shipping when buying from YA. I never had any problems with YA, but I ordered my calender from CDJ last year, which was packed extremely well. So i think I'll wait for when CDJ gets them. Might be a bit more expensive, but it's worth it.

I wouldn't want to buy it and only see it at holidays as I'm going off to uni but I think people might get the wrong impression >_< T_T
She is 16 soon so like it wouldn't be so bad if the photo wasn't in that style T_T

^ Thanks for those, I'm thinking it's between the two Tomo's for me this year. I was going to get Itano's last year but because it was sold out for a couple of days I ended up getting MaiMai's instead. I'd rather get one of a member who is actually in the group this time around.
I may just order Kasai's very soon now that I've seen the previews as I obviously don't know when or if any Itano ones will turn up. I'm sure I'll regret it later.

Anyone getting the AKB weekly calendar? I just ordered one because I
am an idiot who doesn't know how to save money had some points that were about to expire on CDJapan so I used them on it. I better get five awesome pics. :lol:
Oh well, I didn't do too bad. Some people at nihongogo are buying 2 or 3 just for the pictures. Wish I was that rich. XD

S48 set up a big scheme where one person buys the calenders for everybody whose involved and they got an elaborate system of dividing the pics, so that yiou can increase the chance of getting your favorite member.
Anyway, I'm not getting it. Too many members I'm not THAT fond of. The pics are cool, but I can't must not start collecting pics.

If YesAsia ships my Myao calendar anytime soon (it was due to ship 3 days ago and says "Ready to be Shipped"), I'll be taking pics of it.

WOW. I did not expect it to be THIS good. Jan and Feb picture is beautiful. March and April left side picture is probably the HOTTEST fucking thing I've ever seen. Kimono pic is super cute yet super sexy. Christmas picture is awesome, too. This is by far the best non-bikini-ridden calendar I've ever seen. :lol:

WOW. I did not expect it to be THIS good. Jan and Feb picture is beautiful. March and April left side picture is probably the HOTTEST fucking thing I've ever seen. Kimono pic is super cute yet super sexy. Christmas picture is awesome, too. This is by far the best non-bikini-ridden calendar I've ever seen.
I didn't really like Sae's PB but she does looks great in that calendar :yep:

*ahem* Anyways, I dunno about the weekly calendar, but I am gonna bet that it's just AKB48 members. Maybe the cross-over girls, Rena and Jurina were involved, but I dunno. I'll update when I get mine but that might be a while. I send it SAL, the cheapest mailing option which can be quite slow.

The 2009 calendar didn't have SKE, so I doubt 2010 will. Maybe they'll get their own weekly calendar next year? :D

One of my buddies from stage48 used to buy like 6 or 7 and alternate them. I only wish I had the money to even think about doing that. XD
Bummer but not unexpected about no SKE. I bet by next year they'll have one. I wouldn't be surprised to see Team E debut next year, so their activities (and endless products :lol:) should continue to increase.

lol, It's no big deal, I was mostly being sarcastic above. I didn't make that post over there and I'm not really irked by it. Still, if someone scans stuff or you know where it came from initially, unless it's some whacked out source like auctions, credit is considerate. :)

Oshima Mai's '09 one is very similar in format too. I think all these calendars are released through the same company, so I imagine a lot of the same teams probably work on them. Man, talk about a fun job. XD

I think of the AKB calendars, I like Sae's best. It's just so great without going to the gravure level. Not that there's anything wrong with that. :lol: Myao's is also very good, as is Haruna's, but really... I think Sae's is the most fun.
