I couldn’t swim at all, but at this shooting, I was hooked on swimming

Well then, since the photo book “The last uniform” will soon be released, please tell us your impressions of the shooting.

M (Mayu): It was very interesting, and it ended in no time! At first I thought it was going to be very harsh since the numbers of shooting days were a lot, but all the days were very interesting, and they ended very quickly.

You wear a lot of uniforms, and so I thought it was fine, but you were at high tension throughout the shooting, right?

M: Since it was fun, and all the photos were nicely taken.

In this photo book there will not only be the normally formal Mayuyu but also many kinds of Mayuyus.

M:I don’t show my expressions much normally, and I was able to do a lot of movements so I was happy.

You said that it was kinda good to do a little bit of weird faces before the monitor while shooting.

M: Yes (laughs). I think it’s good to have many expressions.

To Mayuyu-san who had discovered that, what are your highlights about this photo book?

M: Uh~m, there are a lot, but if you want only one then  it’s the vibrancy of the photos! So vibrant that it looks like I would jump out of the photos. I think everyone will become happier by reading this.

This maybe rude, but normally I don’t see any images of Mayuyu being vibrant…

M: There aren’t (laughs). But it’s because I don’t have that kind of image normally that this is a fresh photo book!

If there are any best moments throughout the shooting, please tell us.

M: I wore the club’s uniforms and tried to do many sports, but I was scared of swimming… I was like a hammer and couldn’t swim at all before. Even if I could, I could only swim for 2 meters by kicking my feet.

I was also worried if the shooting would ended successfully.

M: Just by thinking that I can swim, I did it!

In reality, you really have excellent reflexes, don’t you?

M: I wonder about that? But I was hooked on swimming. Maybe I want to go swimming again.

It’s been decided that we will hold the “Watanabe Mayu’s 4th single launch illustration contest~Your illustration will become the cover for the new song-Mayuyu” from April 26 (Fri), cooperated with Sony Music Records.

This contest is to celebrate the launch of Watanabe Mayu’s 4th single which has been decided to release on July, 2013. The winning work will be used as the CD cover for the Limited Edition, and will also be published in the illustration book included in the limited edition.

Everyone, did you already see it?

This time I had the priveledge of wearing 94 actual uniforms from across the country.

Which resulted in quite a voluminous photo book

There are lots of casual scenery and relaxed appearance of school life, which are different from the me so far in it.

There lots of lively motions!

I don’t really have the image of “Me=lively motion”so it’s really fresh.

I wore different club uniforms, and we shot them (photos) while feeling like I time slipped to my student days.

But, I never joined any sports clubs, so I got to experience different exercises and they became good memories.

Ah, in the club activities pages, I actually did those sports while shooting!

I’m pretty bad at exercise, but I did try my best though poorly (>_<) There were rules of sports that I didn’t know, and so while shooting, I was saved by the people around!

All the staff and different people all worked hard to make this photobook.

It’s my favorite one,

so I’d be happy if lots of people read it
