Yuko has a new 128 page photobook out on 16th September 2014!

It was shot in Ibiza by Mika Ninagawa (who did the Heavy Rotation/Sayanora Crawl PVs).

It comes with a DVD and an extra-large poster

Title of the book is "Nugi Yagare!"/脱ぎやがれ and the release date has been changed to September 18th, another preview pic for the book.

Looking at the last three posts in this thread... is every photo in this book gonna be Yuko topless with handbra???

Well, I'm not complaining...

Btw, it's only the limited edition of this book which comes with the bonus DVD... and seems like that's sold out, so there's only the regular edition without the DVD available now... shame...

^ Everybody's saying that they (the topless pics) are intended to show that she's being reborn and free, after tiring 8 years as an AKB48 member. Maybe she's trying to get rid of it, her AKB48 image, and by releasing this photobook, I think it's like a kick-off before her journey to become actress.

That's not very probable considering that Yuko has done the topless handbra thing in more or less every PB she has released (in one of them was even more revealing than what we've seen of this).

^ Yes, I'm aware of that. When she was still in AKB48 and she did those shots, all I thought was, she's bold that she do this (compared to other members), and I can tell that she's quite confident about her body. But I think the fact that this photobook is released after her graduation and her first as Oshima Yuko (not AKB48's Oshima Yuko), is perhaps the main reason this gives off those vibes more (the reborn and free thing).

But if she is trying to show her "reborn and free" aspect, doing the same thing that she's done previously it's not the best way.

^ Well, you're right. Some people may think it's the same thing but with a different situation, so it can be different altogether. Perhaps what's best for her now is to just focus on her acting career, so that what comes out of it can be the true vibes of being reborn and free. By the way, that Paper Moon film, is she going to have the leading role?

I've seen the making, and it's beautiful. For me, maybe because it's doesn't show many shots of her being topless with handbra like the photobook does and is more about her enjoying the process. I like every part of it, especially the last, where the photographers take her pictures in an alleyway. Her shoulder-length brown hair, coupled with her natural smile and colorful dress make it her perfect shot yet!
