they'll be attending both festivals... which makes the Idol Nation nothing more than a repeat or an unofficial third day of TIF.
So what? AVEX fans won't complain. It is just bad planning if you consider those fans who have not the money for both events.

it completely takes away the point of making a collaboration if they`re gonna have the same shows in back to back days. that`s not something smart to do, marketing wise. it will not attract more fans, the tendency is to attract fewer. "bad planning" is not a small detail when we are talking about big festivals with loads of money involved. it`s actually a crucial point. but whatever, by now I really should not expect intelligence from those TIF producers eitherway so I guess it`s a moot point.

I'm sure tsutomo will update soon but more names have been added, I only know Ai Shinozaki and FYT.

ten new groups, bringing the count to 142 now. we already passed last year's number to set a new record. don't expect much more to be added.

AnMiRan (that special unit created for the @Jam festival. curious to see them appearing in a 'rival' event)
Caramel
Shizukaze & Kizuna (big addition! I thought that since the group will disband soon they wouldn't appear anymore. looks like they'll be together at least until september)
Ai Shinozaki (now solo after AeLL. disbanded. particularly I like Erika Nishi's works more...)
3b Junior (more small Stardust groups. where the fuck is Team Shachihoko, dammit!?!?)
Versus Kids
Luna Haruna
FYT (finally! it was so strange to see the addition of all groups from Platinum Passport but them)
Magical Dreamin
Ru:Run

so that's not the final announcement yet, since they always reserve some big name for it. and this crop of groups... is very weak, to be polite.

Hm, at least Versus Kids were fun the last time I saw them.
And no, there are still Platinum Groups missing.

well, I don`t really consider those Yururirapo and Pinkypoker craps as proper "idol groups" so...  :P

edit: oh a friend told me that the Luna girl is a quite famous anisong singer. never heard about her but I`m not into that genre so...

they released the map. eight stages, one more than past year. thanks to the return of Zepp DiverCity. apart from that, the same shit we saw in 2014.

three of them will have free entrance and another one (the main stage) will be accessible from that family event in the same area (whose ticket costs 1800 yens, while TIF ticket costs 6000). for people that don't want to expend so much like me, it's nice.  :P

they will be announcing the last few groups soon. let's see if they can end in a high note.

BAND MAID would be a welcome addition. I like them a lot more than Lovendor but then again that group has the ex-MoMusu draw I guess. I distinctly recall seeing BAND MAID hanging around the goods area last year so why not get them on a stage?

Band Maid was there last year? I totally missed them although I was basically camping in goods area, lol
I agree about them. Maybe I will go to one of there lives. There seems to be a festival at the coast of Southern Tokyo.

So I can assume you attend TIF in one way or the other? OMG! :P
If Hot Stage is like last time, with small wristband area and a lot of campers, I probably skip it this time. Rather try my luck with Sky Stage once (maybe).
I don't need any big name. I rather want to see another group I care about, though the current line up is sufficient as it is. Now fingers crossed for good schedule.

So Zepp DiverCity will be a free stage as well? Are they stupid? :panic:

Yeah, I'm kinda worried about that - with so many groups there almost has to be some kind of conflicting schedules.

you are making a confusion there. Zepp is NOT free, the small stage placed under the Gundam replica will be.

Are you sure?
The Gundam Stage is Festival Stage, right?
The Zepp Stage Heat Garage.
On the website they state FREE, and only the priority area demands a wristband.

HEAT GARAGE

「HOT STAGE」と双璧をなすTIF2015最大規模のステージ。ライブハウスならではの熱い雰囲気で、
メインステージ級のライブを楽しめる事間違いなし!

unless I'm completely crazy, there's no "free" there. on the other hand

FESTIVAL STAGE≪FREE≫

お台場を象徴する「ガンダム立像」のお膝元に位置するフリーステージ。
商業施設に隣接し、様々な人々が行きかう、まさに「FESTIVAL」な場所で、アイドルの祭典を体感しよう!

here I see a big "free" written.

you lost your glasses, wattstax? I thought you had made new ones some time ago...  :sweatdrop:

Damn you are right. I just assumed they would put the two biggest stages together and therefore didn't realized the sequence. I apologize! But this makes me feel relieved, for being a wristband only stage.

I just realized that at August 9th in Shin-Kiba, they'll hold a big Idol Koushien Festival. as of now, 72 groups confirmed, same as @Jam Expo.

the list includes Whoop!e Whoop!e, Next Shojo Jiken, Koto, Lyrical School, Passpo, Nato Kan, Predia, Re-2, Dissenter Dolls, Mai Yajima, Idol College and other interesting names.  :twothumbs
