To celebrate Kanon's new thread, here's a little summary of her latest blog entry LOL

When Kanon returned home, there was a present from her dad. It had lots of clothes in it. Kanon's dad had kept it a secret until she'd returned from her lesson. He had asked him "What day is it today?" and when Kanon replied "Christmas" *tadah* she got the clothes. :D The dad had bought her a lot and remembered her taste well, the clothes were cute. He had put all his effort into selecting them :lol: He was otoosanta*!

Kanon mentions that mornings have been painfully cold recently. That's why a warm coat made her happy. From tomorrow on she will be able to surmount also the cold mornings :P (Surmount?? I guess that means like, defeating) She thanks otoosanta.

Next she mentions the picture, a 3shot with Erina Mano* and Momoka Komine*.

And uh... I'm sorry but the last part is too hard for me to understand >_>

Kanon's blog is the best :D

Don't know if you noticed she gave 2006 MVP awards... The first one was for Nacchi ( :D :heart: ), since they worked together on Hakujaden. Kanon really seems to look up to her ^__^

Also, the special MVP award was for..... Everyone who reads her blog! Yes, US!! Thank you Kanon :heart: Kanon's blog is so awesome, she always makes me smile.

Kanon also likes Minimoni a lot, she mentions finding the Minimoni PB during spring cleaning and says she went to Mari's graduation concert. She says she wanted to join Minimoni and that if there was Chibimoni, she'd also want to join that instantly :P

^omg she is so cute!! Yay I do actually get an award - and not just the one i made for for myself
o~ minimoni fan! She fits the height and a chibimoni(lol) that sounds so cute!
(btw I'm really bad at reading japanese, so I tend to skim...I could read it if I sat and thought about it...maybe I should do that more often lol)

Maybe if the sera myu musicals start again she could be chibimoon lol

I'm glad she went for the "subtly tragic but hopeful" rather than the smarmy "Rat pack/Bing by the fire" feel  :wub:,  because I am attached to the Judy Garland MMISL version, where the song's lyrics are a mask for her feelings, which most people forgo and just attempt to emote about the lyrics literally.
It's not often that you manage to glean actual emotion in an idol's singing.(Even Takahashi misses the mark more often than not, and I end up admiring her technique more than getting any feel from it.)

Since it's Kanon week I felt like making the backup of her old blog, I once made, available

edit: I went through it a bit myself and noticed that pretty much everywhere it only had the first 3 pages so I suggest using the calender to view most entrys (it still doesn't have all though).. it's because the backup prog was rather "simple"

My Kanon story: Ever since I know her she seems to be a pro~ don't know when I first noticed her for real though. Also always good times talking with shi about her XD
My favourite thing about Kanon: She's a genkipro, she seems to have fun at doing what she does. She's a good entertainer~ I also think it's awesome that she updates her blogs so often (even though I don't read them much), but I wish some other idols would do that more often  :lol:.

My Kanon story:
Kanon was one of the first Eggsies I learned to know, mostly because she was already in a play in 2005, so when I got into Eggs her name was already known :lol: (At that time, all Egg names weren't public information lol) She's always been super duper adorable so I've always liked her... I like her because she seems so consistently good (singing, dancing, performing), her blogging is cute, she loves H!P aaaand she acts like a little pro XD Sometimes I have a hard time deciding which one is my favourite S/mileage member, her or Dawa, cuz both are so precious.

Kanon is joined by new S/mileage member Akari Takeuchi, and Karin Miyamoto, who was not selected for S/mileage, but surely must be set to join one of the other mainline groups when a new opening is announced. Great to hear Kanon on a song that is not S/mileagesque sounding, as a change of pace :cow:

Kanon chan deserves all of our thanks for holding S-Mileage together
after the departures of Saki and  Yuuka. She and  Ayaka had their hands full with a bunch
of new members who were not quite ready for prime time....so Ayaka provided her
never say surrender attitude, but Kanon's voice was really put to the test, having to
Take on more of the load than ever....

She was magnificent in taking on the challenge, and now S-mileage has grown and blended
into a very fine group indeed....

Hope Kanon had a great day and wishing her a joyful final teen year!

I still couldn't dance or sing, nor even rememeber things well, but the senior Kenshuusei members taught me a lot.
Members such as Takeuchi-san, Ikuta-san, and the original Kenshuusei members would talk to me.
In particular, Fukuda Kanon-san was extremely nice.

So...just the other day Kanon, seemingly out of the blue, name-checked a certain former H!P idol whom Up Front generally avoids talking about now (although Kanon also seems like the type to not care about such an embargo), praising her and the duo she was once part of:
