It's the end of the year. That means it's time to look back at the hottest women of the big and small screens of 2008. In the past we had a ranking for ALL women, but this year we're splitting it up and changing up the voting style. Rather than the points system, rank your top 5 women. Pick your 5 favorite actresses and rank them, 1 being the highest and 5 being the lowest.
To qualify as an actress, a woman must have had some significant acting roles. A recurring character on a show, or even a supporting character in a movie. Small parts in one scene do not count. For example, Gemma Atkinson does a lot of modeling, but had a recurring role on Hollyoaks. She counts. Something like Katie Downes window scene in Deuce Bigalow 2 does not qualify her as an actress.
VOTING ENDS DECEMBER 31st!

1. Tina Fey - One of the funniest people on TV. I love 30 Rock, even though I missed THE WHOLE SEASON except the ep with Oprah. Baby Mama was a funny feel-good movie. The Palin stuff was alright. I didn't care much for the election or the jokes made about it. I still think the funniest thing from it was the "Bitch is the new black!" bit.

RESULTS ARE IN! Only 14 people voted, but thanks to everyone who did. Just the top ten since that's all there is to really rank. Anyone not on this list had only one voter. To count the votes, I did the same thing shirenu does. 1st is 5 pts, 2nd is 4, and so on. When it comes to same point totals, the woman with more voters takes the higher spot. If they had the same number of voters, they tie. The number in parenthesis is the number of voters.

I was surprised to see the scores pretty close. I think the last years(with the different system) had a huge gap in points. This system seemed to work better in the way that the people with the most voters also placed with the most votes. I remember a few women with only a few voters placing just as high, and a sometimes higher, as those with more voters.
Some points about the poll
- Jessica Alba had the most votes for 1st place, 3.
- Kristen and Hadyen only one point apart. :O
- Number of voters seems lower. I thought maybe since the polls are broken up this year, but there still aren't that many votes in the others either. :(
