the arrangement of tanaka's solo sounds a bit like matsuura's 'momoiro kataomoi' to me.

My thoughts:

01. Kotatsu no Uta ~jyuken story～
-I like it more now then I intially did. It's slowness kinda puts me off. (Only ranks higher because it's a song only.) I do still love the parts where they all sing together the best.

02. Yuki / Ai Anata ≧ Suki
-Scary bias for Niigaki makes me love the MC parts (because I love to hear her ramble, it's so cute

) but I wouldn't want to listen to it all the time. Takahashi solo is just wonderful. And as much as I do like the MC GAKI parts, I would like a version of the song with the just the Taka part. There's a reason I never listen to Mr. Moonlight (Long ver.)... Woulda rather had a duet.

03. Samui kara Fuyu da mon! ~Doumokou mo Maissu yo Mikitty~
-Needs more Miki and less little children. If it was only Miki I'd like this much more.

04. Kira Kira Fuyu no Shiny G
-It's a nice song, but I think it's too cute for the image I have of her. So song = okay, but not for Reina to sing.

05. Aruiteru
-Not much can be said about you, you being released already makes you rank lower.

06. Wa ~MERRY PIN X'mas!
-Too cute (and too many squealings from the girls) and reptitive, can't see this being listened to all that often.

Kotatsu no Uta is a classic. I liked PinXmas in the fanvid, but it loses some of it's charm without the costumes and dance. It's still really cute, though I may be biased

Now, I don't mind that this is "cute". I think it kind of suits her voice.

Kira Kira no Shiny G
I love this song! IMO Best song on the album! It's very upbeat and I think it suits Reina very perfectly!

Yuki / Ai Anata ≧ Suki
The song is good, but MC Gaki ruins the song with the little monolougue. They could've put it as a little thing at the end. But the song is good!

Samui kara Fuyu da mon! ~Doumokou mo Naissu yo Mikitty~
Very classic Miki! I love it! And Chisato and Mai add to it! It has a very nice arrangement and it is very Christmasy!

This song is one of the only ones I didn't like. It just didn't get me like the others did. I listened to it, but didn't like the tune. The vocals are great though! Eri sounds erilly like Aibon....

Wa ~MERRY PIN X'mas!
The live from the tour is much better! The recording didn't have as much energy and it felt like it was missing something.

So there's my review! Off to look for the DVD!

very nice review, both editions of the album came to me today so i got a chance to listen it...overall the album was pretty nice, liked the ai-chan song and reina's solo was a pretty nice addition to the album also! i would give this a 8.5/10!

So far the only song that screams 'Christmas' to me. And wonky's voice is just love <333

Yeah, Tsunku took this long to realize that Chisato is a singer. And her voice matches so well with Miki's. I really want to hear more of those two together. But that won't happen

3. Kotatsu no uta ~jyuken story~
I don't know, girls's voice are missing emotion, we can't blame them. The melody is powerful though.

4. Yuki / Ai anata ≧ suki
The song itself is okay, and also, I love Gaki, but she ruined the song imo :0 she sounds way better singing.

5. Wa ~MERRY PIN X'mas~
It lacked energy. Come on Sayu, I know you wanna scream merry pink xmas for me!

Overall: 5/10

I LOVE CHISAMAI WITH MIKI!

But otherwise, the songs are nice, but definitely not that catchy. Even Rainbow Pink to a point. Reina's solo song did remind me of something I forgot to do today, though

yea...I totally agree with that, good thing Takitty saved the song...I'd give the song a 5/5 but with MC Gaki it gets a 4/5
