That's what they're debating. In some states it's illegal, it's like a misdemeanor if one of the teens involved is 2-3 years older, and a felony if he's much older than that or smth. Lots of complicated stuff, I read up on it here: http://community.livejournal.com/ohnotheydidnt/18590439.html

But he most likely isn't going to get in trouble for anything, because it was consensual between the both of them, and Jamie Lynns status.

I don't know, but last I watched E! News, E! was saying that they are planning for having a healthy baby and that OK! Magazine already made a $1 mil deal for when the baby is born. I don't know if it is to be trusted but E! seemed pretty reliable on celebrity rumors like this.

According to DMV records, the Department of Motor Vehicles (and a family member) have confirmed that Jamie Lynn Spears' babydaddy is only 18 years old.

Casey Aldridge was born on April 29th, 1989.

Jamie Lynn was born on April 4th, 1991. That puts her at just under two years younger than him.

Now they can continue to have pre-marital teenage sex in peace!

Actually, Jamie Lynn found out that she was pregnant early, and the story leaked early, but she tried to dispel the rumors. But now she's come out about it, given an interview to OK! magazine about how she was surprised about it, and it took her about a week to tell her mom. Apparently, she wrote her mom a note and passed it to her lol.

I feel kinda sorry for Jamie, she's getting so much sh*t from ppl(well on the internet mostly)like groups, and by the comments left by ppl at Perez Hilton's site(its comments are quite funny sometimes). I honestly think they should cancel her show, unlike adult actors/actresses, she won't have time to do that anymore. Anways, I would find it a bit weird for her to give birth, and then go back to acting on the show.

Ugh Perez Hilton. A man who's more desperate for fame and glory than the stars he reports on. Nothing is immoral to that man, I hear he even posted the 911 call made by Kanye West's mother's family on the night she died. Very distasteful.
