A thread for comics not from Marvel and DC. What's good, waht's coming up, whateva.

Some I'm reading right now.

Johnny Hiro
Half asian, ALL HERO! Fred Chao's adenveture-SciFi-love story follow Johnny as he battles giant lizards, crazy Japanese chefs, and ronin business men. I heard a lot of good things about this and bought it during a sale at AdHouse Books. Really fun action and a touching romance between Johnny and his girl, Mayumi.


Shaolin Cowboy
Holy shit this comic is nuts! Geof Darrow's Shoalin Cowboy is full of over-the-top action that is not only crazy-violent, but very well done. A lot of times I see crazy gore I don't care for it much since it's usually jsut graphic without being too creatively done. SC doesn't have that problem.

I kept finding the same pages.

Mouse Guard
David Petersen's art is gorgeous. I've gone to the book store and flipped through these books so many times. I told Asmo I'd pick it up but I still haven't. I will soon though. Official site

Haven't read anything DC after Blackest night and Marvel after Siege. :P

It's still ongoing and it's a pretty good read.

Also, the first issue of Kick-Ass 2 is out.  :D
