Fanatical religious extremeists are what's wrong with the world. Warmongers have used religion as an excuse almost ever since organized religion first started appearing hundreds/thousands of years ago. Think I'm nuts? In almost any war, both sides claim to be the just side and that they're destined to win because "God is on our side" or "We're fighting in the name of God" or something to that effect. Know what I say about that? BULLSHIT!!!

You don't fight wars because God told you to, you do it because you want to kill the enemy. In this particular case the attacks are (likely) to have been done by Muslim extremeists (who are fighting in the name of/because they were told by almighty ALLAH - which is simply they're name for God). They can go on all they want about how they're fighting for Allah and to defend Islam. We all know that it's all bullshit. They see what the Western world has in terms of money, influence/power, and resources, and they don't think it's right. They think the Muslim nations of the world should be the most wealthy and influencial.

I hate it when stupid dipshit people do stupid shit like this. Most of the people participating in these acts probably have no idea why they are really doing this and just gave into all the propaganda and peer pressure. Stupid low esteem bastards. There is never any justified reason to attack pedestrians. What are they trying to prove? That they could provoke stronger countries into blowing their already fucked up lives into peaces. That's all I see them doing. I don't see any good coming to either sides by doing something like this.

I'm not deeply religious but I believe that what goes around comes around. It's just a matter of time...

National socialist Germany and communist Soviet Union didn't fight in the name of god, but of course the god at their side in the war... Eventhough both ideologies were more or less against the religion. I would be not so good to tell soldiers that they'r fighting against the god

I wonder what are these new bombings... amateur work? The Police already shot someone suspected to be a suicide bomber, so I guess it's quite serious again.

I reckon they were copycats, as their bombs were feeble and didn't kill anyone. In 2 weeks time they'll probably be using party poppers.

I just heard on the news half an hour ago that one of the terrorists was shot dead by police as he boarded a train today. They identified him from yesterdays cctv footage.

And now they're saying that the man who was shot dead by the police had no connections to terrorists at all. I thought this kind of accident would rather happen in the US.

Well, according the article it seems the poor brasilian guy really wasn't helping the situation by his own actions... Five shots to his head sounds still a little of overreaction though.

Yeh, I heard that 3 policemen wrestled him to the ground before shooting him in the head 5 times. Umm... couldn't they have handcuffed him?
