.. now i realize i don't know their sign at all. i know Yossie and Rika's birthday but never bother to take note of their sign. and for the others, yeah i have no clue at all. and all this pieces, libra, aquarius talk make me dizzy and curious and jump to find them out immediately.

"Yocchan, are you okay?"

"Yeah, fine. Sure..."

Aika had stood at my front door for a few moments before realizing that I was a little off. It might have been the not smiling I was doing, or the not 'I'm a leedur respect mah leedurness' (I swear Nakazawa made that up) face that I had on, but she noticed it right away. Her own smile had faded.

"Yocchan, are you ready for company? Nacchi and Sayumin wanted me to make sure you were ready..."

What did they want!? Gah! It was invasion of the annoying people today, wasn't it? First Aquarius, and now Leo and Cancer.

I don't know what was going on today, but if this day kept up, Aika'd know everything by the end of the week!

Which might have been ideal for Pisces, but it wasn't for me. The poor girl needed some time.

I shrugged.

"Ready as I'm ever gonna be..."

"Did you even go to the bathroom yet? You're not dressed!"

I stared down at the pajamas I was still wearing, and stared up at Mitsui.

"... I guess not, Mom," I said, giving her a look. She blushed and grinned.

"Sorry..."

Then she tried to cover.

"Well it's not like you want Nacchi and Sayumin to see it anyways!"

She brought up a point. Bunnies and panda bears all over my butt wasn't exactly something I wanted Leo or Cancer to talk about with anyone else. That was just humiliating.

And Gemini would never let me live it down.

"Right... going then..."

I could hear them competing with who was going to say 'hi' to me first down the hall. I grunted.

"Stall them like your life depends on it Micchi..."

She nodded, saluted, and was off. I rolled my eyes, and ran to get dressed.

Even a few minutes later, after I had finally succeeded in covering up my 'cute pjs,' I heard no evidence that either of the Zodiac had gotten past the strong 'Mitsui' Defense. Good.

I jumped when my phone rang. Snatching it up, I flipped it open, and, without even looking at the name, I started to talk.

"LEARN TO BE THE LEADER OF MOMUSU WITHOUT MY HELP, WILL Y-"

".... Yocchan?"

Her voice made me stop.

"I... I mean..."

"Sweetie, I was never leader... I left that job to more capable people if I remember correctly..."

My brain melted. I had nothing to say right off. I never did. She was always so damn cool all the time. Just that look on her face made you want to stop and give her whatever she wanted.

As opposed to Koha-brat's 'Buy my singles' look.

"... Yocchan?"

"Gah... Maki..."

I could hear her laugh on the other end, as if she realized what was going on.

"Has Ai-chan been pestering you again?"

"... I.... uhm..."

"It hasn't been that long... you shouldn't be stuttering."

I shouldn't have. Why was I?

Oh wait, because my overactive imagination saw other images than just her cool gaze.

"I... Yeah... look... Leo and Ca-"

I could hear her sigh on the other end.

"... Sorry, Abe and Michi-"

Another sigh.

"...... C'mon Mak-"

This time, she cleared her throat. I sighed.

"...... Nacchi and Michishige are about three seconds from breaking down my front door... and unless you want to pay for it, you'd better let me off the damn phone."

She knew I wouldn't hang up on her without a reason.

"Well... listen, your little Gatas child thing is here..."

"Beh?"

"... I don't know her name, but she's just sitting there, staring at me."

"Oh, you mean S-"

"Her name Yocchan. I want her name, not her title."

"Ask her then!"

"I'm trying to get you in the habit! If I can change you for the better, then I will!"

"It's not like we're trying to take over the world Ma-"

She cleared her throat again.

"GOD FORGET IT!"

And, for the first time in ages, I hung up on her, my anger getting the best of me. I could feel my cheeks flush.

I set the phone down and went to go save Mitsui.

"THERE SHE IS!"

The simultaneous shouts of Leo and Cancer set me off, as they bounded past poor Mitsui and each gave me a hug.

"Yocchan!" Leo shouted happily. Cancer's pigtails were bouncing out of happiness (and the fact that she was bouncing along with them.)

"Yocchan, happy day off!"

"Great. Yeah. Sure... who gave you two sugar?"

Mitsui grinned sheepishly at me and shrugged, like she didn't do anything wrong.

Yeah, right.

"Nevermind... STOP BOUNCING I CAN SEE THAT YOU'RE HERE ALREADY!"

Both of the women stopped, let out noises, and released me from their cute death grip. I grunted at them both.

"What do you want?" I asked. Cancer stared at me.

"Nacchi, Yocchan's a big meanie today! We just wanted to cook her breakfast and take her and Mitsui out for shopping and then lunch, right?"

Leo nodded vigorously.

"And I was going to drive us around after that!"

All three of us got horrified looks on our faces. Could you blame us? If that woman was driving, I wanted no part of the day.

"No Abe. No driving. We're walking," I concluded. The younger two brightened, but Leo pouted.

"Awww, and I pilfered Yuuchan's car for that..."

I had an itching feeling I'd be hearing it later.

"Yocchan," Cancer said, innocence and cute filling her voice, "If Ai-chan calls... Mitsui and I are sick with.... uhm..."

"Smallpox," Mitsui finished. Cancer smiled, and nodded.

"....... I hate you," I blurted out. Cancer frowned.

"YOCCHAN! YOU DON'T MEAN THAT! You're just grumpy! I know! I'll go cook some udon!"

And before I could say 'no we'll go out so you don't make a mess of my kitchen,' she was gone. Making a mess of my kitchen.

Which left me with Mitsui and Leo the Clueless.

"Yocchan..." Leo whined, "We're still going out right?"

I sighed. The day was not meant to be spent babysitting. That was alright though, if Mitsui was there. She'd help me reign the two idiots in.

"Yeah..."

"Yay! We can buy pandas and bunnies and gifts for Rika!"

I stared at her angrily.

"You didn't happen to ... let anyone else know..."

"Nope! The only people who know are you, me, Sayumi-chan, and Aika-chan!"

Aika grinned at me, and I just sighed.

"Just keep it to yourselves, alright?" I tried hopelessly. Leo nodded stupidly in response.

"Of course! It's not like I told anyone else! I don't think Gocchin would like it if I told her..."

No. She wouldn't like that at all...

"What are you getting at?"

"... Nothing."

And she just smiled at me stupidly.

I hated it when she did that.

Well that shot down my theory on Maki being Aquarius... but now I have a few other candidates... Maybe one of her "Bestfriends" Mai... Ayaka... maybe someone completely different.

Scorpio is at Maki's! I think.

Poor Ai-chan... I feel bad for the kid. Yossy is grumpy in this fic... I LOVE IT!

Man, I was working on my reading/commentaries for this chapter while I was as school today. About three-quarters of the way through, one of the students asks to borrow it for a bit to look something up. So I let her know to open up a new window so my stuff doesn't get lost. Lo and behold, she goes to a page or something that causes an error in the IE (the comp didn't have Firefox) which makes it.......shut down. 

So yeah, this is missing a lot of the "first impression" comments that I usually put for my comments.

"Yocchan, are you ready for company? Nacchi and Sayumin wanted me to make sure you were ready..."

What did they want!? Gah! It was invasion of the annoying people today, wasn't it? First Aquarius, and now Leo and Cancer.

This part makes it sound almost like Aika's SUPPOSED to be told whatever it is that Aichan said Yossi should tell her. But if this is the case, why is it so important that Aika be told it? What will happen to her once she knows?

Maki again? She wouldn't like it if they bought stuff for Rika? Something's going on here with Maki. Yossi seemed to be frustrated at her when she was trying to talk to her earlier, almost like she was proverbially walking on eggshells with her or something.


So I guess this means Maki wasn't the one that Yossi lost, eh? But if she's not the one, then who is?

Rika and Maki both make recurring romantic themes in Yossie's life because of the fact that Hitomi's a horny bunny and needs to get her kicks somehow.

She did lose Maki, I just haven't gone into explaining why and how and stuff. That whole conversation is key to it though. Hint on that? Title = Zodiac name.

And, one more thing? Gatas reference is to Ongaku Gatas. Now you gotta go through and pick out which one it is ^^

I won't tell you which 'S' it is. Too important to plot.

Next chapter will come tomorrow or Sunday... or whenever I get a chance to type it up... until then... I'm out a Taurus and a Libra. Anyone want to make suggestions? (yay for reader participation). OMG...its been a year since I last read a fanfic (literally, blame it on graduating).....and what a great one to come too.

Zodiac conspiracy....hmmm..makes you wonder what their true purpose is.....maybe Tsunku struck a deal with aliens to become the most successful producer with cute girls under his watch by using alien technology (picture the MIB series scene of when MIB 1st made contact with aliens....should get the picture)

Anyway, can't comment specifically coz it was all just too good. but, i've sent my suggestion and hoping that its taken into consideration..... ....makes me drool in anticipation

When We Go Shopping

"Yocchan, isn't this adorable?"

It was the fifth shop today. I was beginning to think they dragged me out here so none of them had to pin the blame on one of the others for being the grumpiest.

I sighed, and gave a disdainful look at the bib Cancer was holding up. We had stopped shopping for Rika (after I told them to drop the subject) and started shopping for Nono's baby.

Stupid Nono. Stupid Ultraman. That's what condoms were for.

Cancer pouted at me, and held it up closer.

"Yocchaaaaaan!" she whined, "Is it adorable or not?"

"YES!" I shouted angrily, "It's even more adorable than you!"

Cancer shrunk back, and pouted.

"It is not!"

And she put it back where it belonged. She didn't want to be outdone by some child that wasn't even born yet, and I knew it.

Leo was a few racks away, rambling Mitsui's ear off about something I couldn't hear.

Sometimes that was a bad thing, but I figured it'd be easier to explain things to Mitsui after Leo told her.

I didn't have a lot of time to beat around the bush or call up Gemini and get her to do it for me.

"Look who's here Aachan!"

"Eee! Yocchan! Now you won't be a grumpy grump sourpuss!"

Whirling around, I spotted Mai, pulling poor Scorpio in tow. The latter of the two was not happy, and her mood didn't seem to improve when she spotted me. Cancer grinned, and Mai did the same.

"Sayumin, is Yoshiko being as grumpy as Aachan is?" Mai asked, squeezing my cheek. She knew that if she played her cards right, I wouldn't horribly maul her in public.

Scorpio snorted.

"I'm not grumpy. I'm just contemplative," she replied. As my eyes met with her's, she looked away. Cancer frowned.

"Yes, Yocchan is being a meanie poo face about it too!"

"I'll meanie poo face you if you don't watch it," I snapped angrily. Cancer let out a meep, and joined Leo in the 'ranting off Mitsui's ear' event. Mai soon followed, feeling the awkwardness of her two best friends too much for her.

"... Did you tell her?" Scorpio asked.

"No. I haven't gotten a chance to. Leo's been fluttering around her all day..."

"Get Leo to tell her then."

"It's not that simple... Mitsui likes her questions answered, and if they aren't, then she's going to sit there until they are..."

Scorpio sighed.

"Stop making excuses Yoshiko..."

"Stop calling me that. They can't hear us."

She shook her head.

"I know, but Maki was right. She always was. You need to get your head out of work sometimes..."

I wasn't sure how to respond to that. I did not need to get my head out of work... I was firmly grounded to my priorities, that was all.

And the world ending was a big priority!

"Ayaka-chan!" Leo called out in a squeal, dashing past and hugging the poor woman, "It's been so long! How have you been?"

Scorpio smiled.

"Pretty good actually, Nacchi. I hope you aren't being too much trouble to Yoshiko."

Leo shook her head wildly.

"Nope! She's the one who's being trouble!"

She squeezed my other cheek, the one Mai had yet to terrorize. I growled, and she retracted her hand.

"Someone's got a case of the grumpies!" she shouted, pouting and giving me the largest hug possible without me ripping out her throat.

"She just needs chocolate!" Cancer added, hugging me to the same effect Leo was. Mitsui and Mai were right behind, the former of the two with a contemplative look on her face.

Our eyes met, and she frowned.

"I don't need chocolate..." I replied, "... I need... AIR!"

Wiggling free of the two cuddle bunnies, I grunted, and eyed Mitsui again. By now, her gaze had snapped away from me, and she was talking to Mai about Gatas and me working my tail off.

This was a recurring theme. Couldn't I just work in peace? No one had enough sanity to work with anymore.

Leo and Cancer both pouted.

"Yocchan~"

At the same time, in the same manner...

Why me?

"Look, you ... can go get chocolate with Mai and Aachan! I'll take Mitsui later, I haven't chosen a baby gift yet!"

Great job, think faster next time.

Leo and Cancer grinned, and took the aforementioned random goofy women of their respective (soloist) groups, and towed them off to get some chocolate. Mitsui gave me an innocent look.

"Didn't we go out and buy that present like two days ago?" she asked. I nodded, and she smiled lightly.

"... So, whatcha wanna talk about?"
