yes it is ^_^ now all that's left is to buy a wii.. I'll have to wait for the price to come down a bit though

a wii is really expensive in my country (because of low supply & high demand) they run up to around $450 >_<

I need one of those. My 7900GTX is getting quite dated now. Games like Crysis really show it up. I've also only got a 2.14ghz Core2Duo, so I need to replace that with a Quad-Core this summer.

And I will not complain again about the load-times of HD-DVD, it takes a freaking 1 minute or so to load Idependence Day on this thing!!

No, didn't go for a high-end player yet, I only want something that should be able to play the AKB48 concerts that are on the way.
Later this year I'll see what gives with the HD formats.

Conquest of the Empire. A big, long, geeky board game. On the other hand, I know a cute Swedish exchange student that will play it with me, so it's less geeky than it seems.

I got a DFI P35 Blood Iron from the shop where I bought my original mobo. They didn't have the original one, so they gave me the newer model

4 port HDMI switcher:

Wanted to try if I could trick the TV into doing HDMI via the DVI port
Didn't really work: the VGA to DVI to HDMI converter from the laptop didn't turn on the TV, and outputting 720p via the DVD-player also didn't produce a usable picture.

Time get a new TV (with HDMI in this time) and a laptop with HDMI out (like the one I'm using as desktop replacement) for playing videos...
