Damn man, MG2 really is the taking over of AKB by SKE.
Not that I mind.
The acting was the worst it's been all season, although it got marginally better in part 3.
Thought Rena was overacting a bit too. The original Gekikara episode was so chilling because she appeared so carefree. Here even the laughs at the beginning felt forced, until she started making with the shoe and piano beatdown.
No idea what all that shit was with Dance either, and that felt forced too. I guess there are limits to Rena's ability to act insane after all. Somehow I feel that Dance might get some development in the future, either break out of the yankii circle or learn to properly yankii thanks to MG.
Did not see the YouranxShaku at all, but the payoff to that scene was great. Sae's panicked "aaaaaahh" was epic. Although hopefully they aren't setting up a YouranxGekikara thing, that's a huge DNW.
Otabe finally showing some dark side! Looks like she's the only one willing to deal with Nezumi, except it seems that she can do so because she might be a plotter too? Huh. I look forward to this dynamic, and if Otabe fucks up the NezumixCentre.
Return of the principal and her engrish!
She's not familiar with Otabe, so that rules out Otabe being related to the Maeda family/old gang.
Aw damn, they made the NezumixCentre too obviously mutual. Too soon! Although it looks like from the preview that Nezumi won't still be above manipulating the poor girl even if she likes her back. Looks like Nezumi might get some positive character development after all. I do hope that Team Hormone's sacrifice also plays a part though.
Duuuuuude, they made a counter-Gekikara! Geki went and got herself some sanity so obviously the solution is to get a girl with MORE INSANITY. Awesome! I suspect she'll become the season's Big Bad, with the ruthlessness of Nezumi and the psychopath personality of MG1 Gekikara. Bring it on, Kanon, bring it on. I wouldn't mind her becoming the season's dark horse. Stabbed both of the Matsuis, eh? You are not so subtle, Aki-P. Although I wonder if Centre's background will cross with Minami, or if only her encounters with kanon will drive her into become a true Centre. That seems like a cop out though, as there's still no real connection between her and Maeda, just one between her and Gekikara.
Oh snap, we'll get to see Shaku show her true yankii abilities next ep!
Hopefully she'll live up to her Queen status. At least we know she can take on Janken from the previews.
