Necklace (WMatsui)-Rena's POV- This heart necklace, split into two. One for me, another for the person I'm going to marry, that's what my mother told me when she bought it for me. I always wear the other half with me and keep the other half to my pocket or my bag. Guys have been always going for me but I test them to see whether they deserve the other half of my necklace or not.. Only one of my guy best friend, Matsui Jun, knows about this. I plan to give it to someone- no not someone but my crush, Furukawa Airi, who has also been hitting on me. Though, I was about to give him my necklace until our best friend, Matsui Jun stopped me.
-flashback-Airi and I were in the library. We were teasing around with each other quietly until I tripped on myself but luckily, Airin caught me midair. Our face are a few centimetres close to each other.
"M-Ma-Matsui Rena-chan!" Airin stuttered and blushed.
"N-Nani?" I stuttered as well.
I look deeply into his eyes, its so beautiful. This is the first time I've seen his eyes in a close view. We kept staring at each others eyes but Airin broke it as he helped me stand up.
"Ano.. Rena-chan.." Airin whispered softly that I almost wasn't able to hear it.
"Nani..?" I asked. "What is with this atmosphere? It feels.. sort of romantic" I thought.
"Please go out with me!" Airin said weakly and bowed ninety degrees.
"Ye-" I was about to accept it but..
"Rena-chan. Sorry for this but come with me. Its important." Jun came out of nowhere and dragged me out of Airin's sight.
-End of flashback--End of Rena's POV-"I still haven't answered Airin's confession.." Rena said.
"Why not?" Jun asked and looked at Rena.
"I was about to answer him but you dragged me away from him that time...." Rena told Jun.
"...... I'm sorry...." Jun apologised.
"Apology not accepted~" Rena teased Jun, breaking the serious atmosphere.
"It's my birthday~ At least forgive me?" Jun said while making a puppy face. Rena giggled and gently pushed Jun head away.
Rena and Jun are in a park, sitting on a bench in a park right now. The two of them always meet up with each other at the park every Friday around 6-8pm but they decided to stay in the park because Jun wanted to have Rena for company for his birthday and luckily, Rena agreed since her parents allowed her to.
"I plan to give the necklace to Airin.." Rena told Jun. Jun faked a smile but hurt can be seen in his eyes.
"Wow.. You're totally serious about him? Chillax darling. We're only in the last year of elementary school." Jun joked but Rena gave him a 'I can't believe you said that' face.
"Not planning to give other people a chance, are you?" Jun asked with the most serious tone that Rena rarely hears.
"Well, that depends..." Rena replied.
"Depends on?" Jun asked.
"The situation..." Rena replied.
Jun's phone suddenly rang. He took it out from his jeans and answered instantly.
"Yes. Ok. I will. Ok. Oh. Right. Ok Bye Mom." Jun only answered those words to the caller, which is Jun's mom, then hung up and put his phone back to hsi pocket.
"I have to go home now." Jun told Rena.
"Ok, bye." Rena said while waving to Jun but Jun just stared at her.
"...."
"I'm going to fetch you home. It's too late to be alone in the night considering that you're a girl." Jun told Rena.
"Thanks 'gentleman'." Rena teased.
~
-Monday- Its time for the 6th grades' recess. Rena is going to the canteen alone after helping her teacher carry books and her group of friends were already waiting for her there. Rena took the nearest staircase near her which was the staircase only the sporty people use because the gymnasium and the soccer field is there, and it was also far from the canteen and the classrooms. There were no people going down and up the stairs except for Rena- or so she thought.
Rena was about to go down the stairs but stopped when she heard voices below. Two recognisable voices. It was Airin's and Jun's. Rena looked down out of curiosity of what her two best friends were doing in the lonely staircase.. Both guys were sitting at the corner of the staircase where the steps were a little bit far away.
"Dude. Stop lying. I know you like Rena." Airin told Jun but Jun stayed quiet and he slowly looked down to the floor, guilty.
"When did you start liking her?" Airin asked in a relaxed but a little bit tensed tone.
"Since last year.." Jun said softly but it was loud enough for Rena to hear it. Rena clenched her fist. She felt like running away but her curiosity let her stay.
"Why didn't you tell me? I wouldn't have confessed to her if you told me about it." Airin said in a more tensed tone.
"I didn't know you will. Since you already have a girlfriend." Jun hissed.
"NO! THIS CAN'T BE TRUE! NO! NO!" Rena shouted, gaining Airin's and Jun's attention. Both guys stood up in shocked. "RENA?!?"
Rena ran away, tears falling down her face and the other half of her necklace dropped to the ground. Jun chased Rena, totally forgetting Airin's presence and without knowing that the other half of Rena's necklace dropped. Airin just stood in his spot with his mouth opened to protest but nothing came out and it was too late so he just stared at Rena's necklace and picked it up, planning to return it later, after school has ended.

"WAIT RENA!" Jun shouted and sprinted faster. Luckily, Jun is fast enough to catch up to Rena. Jun grabbed Rena's wrist while she is still running. Jun pulled Rena to him quickly, with only a little force to avoid hurting Rena, and then hugged her. Rena didn't resist and cried on Jun's shoulders. It seems like knowing Airin already has a girlfriend hit her the most since she didn't resist Jun's hug.
"I don't know how long you've been listening to our conversation. But please, don't cry. You know that I hate it when I see you cry." Jun said and hugged Rena tighter. Rena continued to cry. Jun hugged Rena until the school bell rang. Recess is over.
"Recess is over.." Jun said and let go of Rena then took a step back. Jun cleared Rena's tears from her face, she didn't resist either and she's just looking down to the floor.
"Let's go back to class.." Jun said softly but Rena just stood there. "fine.." Jun sighed then hold Rena's hands to guide her. Rena was stunned for a while but she was still too sad because of Airin. Jun fetched Rena to her classroom then went back to his classroom as he and Rena is in different classes. But, he and Airin are in the same class.
"Here, Rena dropped this. I don't think I have the courage to give it back to her now." Airin said and gave Jun the necklace then both guys went back to their sits to start classes.
~
-Rena's POV- Rena went home quickly, took a bath, eat half of her lunch because she has no appetite then went to her own room to lay down on her bed.

When did you start liking her?" "
Since last year.."
Rena suddenly remembered that Jun likes her. Her mind suddenly showed memories of her and Jun teasing, playing and chatting with each other. She also remembered Jun being hurt when she told him that she plans to give the necklace to Airin.
"
Oh no.. Why.. Why didn't I notice?! I hurt.. I hurt Jun so much.." she thought. Memories of her and Jun kept on appearing. Rena suddenly felt her heart beat faster. Mixed emotions also started to fill her. Sadness for knowing that Airin has a girlfriend, guilt for hurting Jun and not realising that he likes her, happiness and love.
"
Jun's hug and the way he held my hand just now.. It felt comfortable and safe.." Rena thought.
"
His voice.. His facial expressions.. His......"
"
I'm inlove with Jun.. Wait.. What? No.. he's an idiot. It's not like I care for him or anything.."
Rena finally realised how she felt. She is actually inlove with Jun but she just noticed it now.
-End of Rena's POV--Jun's POV- "
My birthday was only yesterday and I got into this situation.." Jun thought. He started to feel insecure.
"
What if she heard our full conversation?"
"What if she don't like me?"
"I don't wanna go to school tomorrow. I don't wanna eat, I have no appetite. I wanna end everything right now."
"The necklace.. I bet she won't give it to me."
-End of Jun's POV-~
-The next day- Jun didn't want to go to school but his mom forced him to. He brought Rena's necklace with him. He's too scared to see Rena but he has to return the necklace to her so right now, Jun is standing at the gate entrance of his school to wait for Rena. Luckily, she came to school three minutes after Jun came. Jun went to Rena.
"Rena.. Here, your necklace. You dropped it. Luckily Ai-" Jun pressed his lips as he almost mentioned Airin's name. He stretched out his hand to give the necklace to Rena but she pushed it back gently to him.
"No.. Keep it." Rena blushed and looked away.
"Ehhh!?"
"A present.. A late birthday present.." Rena said quietly and blushed more that she has a red face now and Jun can see it clearly.
"But.. You already gave me a present and you told me that you only give it to the person you love-not for a present and stuff." Jun said.
"J-Just take it." Rena stuttered.
"You're blushing. You rarely blush." Jun said. Jun is now starting to feel happy because he has never seen Rena like this before and he knows what is coming.
"No.. I'm not its just that asdfghjkl" Rena mumbled.
"What? I can't hear you!" Jun teased while putting his free hand next to his ear.
"I said "No. I'm not. Its just hot." Rena said irritatedly because Jun teased her in this situation.
"What? I really can't hear you~" Jun teased again.
"I said "I'm not blushing!" Rena shouted.
"What?! You're talking too soft~!" Jun teased more.
"Fine! Yes! I love you! Are you happy now?! IDIOT!" Rena shouted. Luckily, it wasn't loud enough for the other coming students to hear because if they heard it, they might get expelled or go to counselling since the school does not support relationships as it is only an elementary school.
"I didn't know you're a tsundere. Help me put your necklace on me." Jun teased again then handed the necklace to Rena.
"I'm going to strangle you." Rena said sarcastically then put it on Jun gently.
"D-done.." Rena blushed again.
"Come on, let's go to hall for the flag ceremony." Jun said then held Rena's hands.
"I-Idiot.."

60% of my real life story is written. lol ha. Jun is me in the story. The reality was so bad that I had to put 40% of fiction in it xD
Though, I find the real ver. funny now
. Since that person ignored me after hearing the convo until now lol.xD
