Koei is a Japanese game company specialized in historical simulation games. Among some of their most famous works are games like Dynasty Warriors (真・三國無双), Nobunaga's Ambition (信長の野望)Romance of the Three Kingdom (三國志), Samurai Warriors (戦国無双), & Uncharted Waters (大航海時代). They also created quite a few more feminine game series, althou these are less well known (at least by me) since they are prolly not as widely distributed as their historical/action games are.

Soooo, why am I suddenly talking about Koei? Well, it turns out that I was roaming their web like usual just then & I saw this... :panic:

AKB48's Ambition! :panic:
Quoting from their official web:
Quote

The player will be the fan of the members it seem? Also it is called a social simulation game? Additionally the word 国盗 was used, so the player are gonna try to be an usurper? So is politic an element in this game? It says it will be published sometime in 2013, but not specifically when.

So what do you folks think of it? :nervous
Personally it seems more interesting to me than Renai Sousenkyo lol. The costume the five are sporting also look nice, especially Yuko's & Mayuyu's.
Not a lot of information thou, so I guess not much to comment on for now..

in other news, my wireless internet has comeback to life! not that this is relevant to you guys lol.

Edit: Looks like this isn't really news, as it was posted in some of the members' thread already. Didn't roam there for awhile due to lack of wifi. :sweatdrop:
Just gonna steal two pics from Masa for the sake of more pics. Credit to Masa!

These are two different factions it seems? Also the game seems to be a smartphone game. Dunno is that good news or bad news for of you folks.

On December 30th, the annual music awards show, ”The 54th Kagayaku! Japan Record Awards” was held, and announced that AKB48’s “Manatsu no Sounds good!” (written by Akimoto Yasushi, composed and arranged by Inoue Yoshimasa) has received the grand prize “Japan Record Award.” This is the second consecutive year for AKB48 to receive the award since they won the award with “Flying Get” last year.

Winning the “Japan Record Award” successively has been achieved by Hosokawa Takashi (1982 ~ 1983), Nakamori Akina (1985 ~ 1986), Amuro Namie (1996 ~ 1997), Hamasaki Ayumi (2001 ~ 2003), and EXILE (2008 ~ 2010), thus AKB48 is the first female group to accomplish it.

The general manager of AKB48 groups, Takahashi Minami shed tears, and said, “I am truly happy. Last year, we were desperate to grab the award, but his year, we felt like we must win it as the second chapter for AKB48 has begun. I am proud that we were able to get this award when there are so many great artists here.”

Watanabe Mayu also commented, “As Maeda-san graduated, we, the ones who are left, need to make AKB….”, she then had to stop right there, as she could not hold herself, but cry. She continued tearfully, “I am very happy. While being proud of this, I would like to continue trying our best. Though we felt some pressure, receiving the award will make us gain confidence, and I hope it will bring another good accomplishment.”

The winners of “THE JAPAN GOLD DISC AWARD 2013” have been revealed.

The ‘Japan Golden Disc Award’ is headed by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ), and the RIAJ initiated this annual event in 1987 to recognize outstanding artists and works that have contributed to the recording industry.

The winners are chosen based on the actual sales number of music software (deducting the number of the returned goods from the number of shipped goods), as well as the number of downloads through paid online distribution, Chaku-Uta, and so on. The winners for this year were chosen from data compiled from November 1st, 2011 to October 31st, 2012.

The “Artist of The Year” awards are considered to be the ‘grand prize’ for “THE JAPAN GOLD DISC AWARD.”

Could you help confirm something?  Is NO NAME getting a digital release?

Nakamata, Nito, Yokoyama, Shimada, Oba, Tanabe and Minegishi of AKB celebrated for their Coming-of-Age today.

This Coming-of-Age celebration was a memorable one because it's rare to celebrate this occasion on a heavy snow.

Also, congratulations to everyone in Japan who is celebrating for their Coming-of-Age!!

I hope that you will have an awesome life as an adult
