Several days ago, I duly informed

Amplifier that I will be away on a secret mission.
I added that I will only report in when I had successfully ''made it.''
Well, I ''made it'' to Mayu Watanabe's Synchro Tokimeki - 1st Mini Live event today (the line started way before 8am this morning, while the Live event started at 12:15pm and ended around 2:30pm)

HoneyRoastedPeanuts for encouraging me to even attempt for the lottery in the first place weeks ago.
Speaking of
HoneyRoastedPeanuts, I was supposed to meet up with him on March 18th, but I was down with high fever, a bad throat/cough etc. Thanks to the very kind and helpful hotel staff, they purchased these for me at a nearby pharmacy
I was really sick for 2 days and had great doubts that I could complete my mission. Those green pills really saved my life!
Fortunately, today I made the journey thanks to help from the hotel staff, Keio line staff and the Live event staff who directed to me with regards to where to go in Yomiuriland. Props also to the fans who were very helpful and kind.
I got the lottery tickets for the morning and evening event. The so called registration for the morning event began at 8 am. Everyone waited in line on a sunny morning till about 11:10 am when they finally allowed us into the venue at Yomiuriland East. Before the entry, there was another lottery to select individuals for a special up 'close event' with Mayu Watanabe after the mini Live. When I opened the folded piece of paper (2nd lottery) and saw that I got it, I felt faint and had to sit down.
By the time I came to, there was a long line for the Synchro Tokimeki official merchandise (see post above). Feeling exhausted having been in line since 8ish am, I decided to wait till after the Live to join the line for the merchandise.
That was a big mistake as the t-shirts I was eying sold out when I got to the booth later.
Mayuyu only sang 3 songs for the mini Live, Synchro Tokimeki, Mitsuami no Kimi e and Mayuyuroid. In between, there was lot of talk and yes, a birthday cake for Mayuyu (she turns 18 on March 26, 2012).
Also, there was alot of media (press) there so there was lots of photo taking sessions and a mini press conference.
As photography was prohibited, I managed to sneak these photos (me being a secret agent)
As for the special up 'close event' with Mayuyu after the mini Live, she was really in her element interacting with fans and especially with children. However, she maintained eye contact with me (an older lady dressed as a secret agent?
) when there were a throng of kids just after me. I was really shot in the
I decided not to go for the evening Live event as I was feeling really exhausted and have to catch the plane tomorrow back to Singapore.
I totally didn't do any shopping in Tokyo as I was sick for the first 2 days and hope to purchase some mags tonight and tomorrow.
