Teaser for the OST of the drama Jubee will be acting in (a short clip from the drama with her in it as well):

The title says 'Sunny Hill', but the only member there is Jubee. Cute tune, pretty typical of an OST, I guess. The drama's called 'I Love Lee Tae Ri'. It's scheduled to broadcast on May 28th.

Teaser for the MV, Sunny Hill and some teens talking about their first loves. As one might guess, this is gonna be a "warm song with lots of emotion".

"Goodbye to Romance" was again written by composer Lee Min Soo and lyricist Kim Eana(or Leena), who also made the previous Sunny Hill tracks "Midnight Circus", "The Grasshopper Song" and "Is The White Horse Coming?", for example. They also did, more recently, Gain's "Bloom" and are responsible for several other good tunes, "Abracadabra", IU's "Good Day" + "You & I", etc..

CSI subbed interview with the girl. Hahaa, Jubee the stalker. And lol at the Lee Min Soo comments.

On this mini-album, it's a different, mellow Sunny Hill, maybe because of xmas time, but frankly I think it's pretty great. They're always a pleasure to listen to and have some of the best instrumentals in k-pop. I don't care much for the ballad opener, but Goodbye to Romance is a really nice track, I love the crescendo of sorts in the end. Still, my fave track has to be 3-Out, a total guilty pleasure kind of tune... a cheerful adventure with an excellent chorus.

Music Core got blocked fast, but here's Inkigayo. Fan chants so loud compared to the song in the beginning. :D

Jubee looking and sounding fantastic with Yoon Hyun Sang, the man from the jungle, in this stripped down version of Cold Day, the ballad opener of the mini-album.

So I finally listened to the 'new' Sunny Hill promo song and, boy, did I feel the emotions. It's not really because the song itself was especially moving (well, not that I realised), but more that the sound is really reminiscent of the original Sunny Hill, with Jubee, Seung Ah and Janghyun. I dig it.

Really need to listen to the whole mini-album.

Now for a few videos from the LOEN ENT Youtube channel. I'm not sure if you can turn on the English subtitles in the embedded player, so you might have to go to Youtube itself for that.

A pre-release interview, looks like:

Sunny Hill releasing some collab thingy with Daybreak, a korean boyband. Seems like a cute love song. Out April 5th... dunno where Misung is, though.

CSI interview bonanza with the girls and DayBreak. Sort of a R&Iesque "dating" theme here. Poor Seungah...

So Rainbow's Seungah gets ignored by all the guys on R&I, and now Seungah in this CSI episode gets ignored by the guys too. I guess it's just not a good thing to be named Seungah

This song is actually a cover of DayBreak's existing song. Perhaps strangely cutesy for Sunny Hill, but the MV is pretty funny and quirky.

And lol @ Kwanghee in the end... XD

Sunny Hill to Comeback on June 19 with “Young Folk”

Sunny Hill fans rejoice! Sunny Hill will be coming back with their new album “Young Folk” on June 19. Simultaneously, I never would have seen this song coming, yet it also fits Sunny Hill well!

I wasn't sure if I liked it in the first minute, but now it just seems so right to me. Pretty cute and fun. Seungah's blinking  Once again somewhat reminding me of the old school Sunny Hill style. I find it interesting that the lyrics tell more of a progressive story, rather than just the same chorus over and over again. Though hey, I would never be able to tell if it weren't for the English subtitles.

Final thoughts: not my favourite Sunny Hill, but I do love their experimentation. It's a pretty catchy number.

The rest of the mini-album Young Folk:

I'm quite liking this mini, especially Anything You Want. Romantic Comics is a pretty sweet tune, too.
