This is Miyabi, from a Japanese TV production company.
The first pilot of "IINE! JAPAN - Nippon Daisuki Gaikokujin Grand Prix (Like！JAPAN Nippon Maniacs Grand Prix)" went well.
I appreciate all who actually came to Japan and also applied for this event.

We are going to produce another episode and are planning to do AKB48 quiz again!
Therefore, I'm posting this information here on Everyday48.
There is a possibility that we might be doing elimination round in some places outside of Japan. Then, final quiz will be taken a place in Tokyo!

Which artist looks good in swimwear?

Every summer, Recochoku conducts a poll asking its users which artists they think looks good in swimwear. This year, 1,142 users participated in the poll, which was held from July 17 to the 31st.

The poll was divided into two categories with AKB48’s Oshima Yuko dominating the female category and EXILE’s TAKAHIRO coming in first for the male version.

On choosing Oshima, voters commented, “Her cheerful image suits the beach,” and “She has sex appeal even from a woman’s point of view.”

Meanwhile, users who voted for TAKAHIRO expressed their admiration for his refreshing looks and his sculpted body.

Ueto Aya remains the CM Queen in the first half of 2012

On August 8th, Video Research Ltd. once again released various statistics about the usage of commercials in the first half of 2012. As usual, they concentrated their analysis on the three main regions of Japan (Kanto, Kansai, and Nagoya) and the five main commercial networks.

The results show that the amount of commercials slightly increased again by 3% in all three regions compared to last year. Especially the number of commercials that air during a program recorded a sharp increase by more than 20%, while the number of spots that air in between programs haven’t changed much. Looking at the different categories of commercials, it’s the general automobile commercials that eventually climbed up at the top again with an extreme increase of 161.1% in Kanto, 164.3% in Kanto, and 161.9% in Nagoya.

After suffering from the Great Tohoku Earthquake last year, the automobile industry are experiencing tailwind again this year. The eco-car tax reduction also caused an increasing number of commercials (approximately 150%) for light motor vehicles in all three regions.

When looking at the talents used in commercials, it was actress Ueto Aya that claimed the top in all three regions again. Actress Takei Emi claimed second place in Kanto, while AKB48’s Oshima Yuko came in second place in Kansai and Nagoya. Third place went to AKB48’s Maeda Atsuko in all three regions. Two people experienced huge boost during the first half of 2012, actress Gouriki Ayame and actor/comedian Takada Junji, who both jumped from the 300th place and beyond into the top 20 in all three regions.

New commercial series for Nissin Cupnoodles “Cup Noodle Robo Timer Trio campaing” will start airing from Sep 8, nationwide. This new series of Cupnoodles ad campaign, again, features AKB48 members. This time, Itano Tomomi, Watanabe Mayu and Kashiwagi Yuki play the trio for the commercial series.

This series consists of 4 commercials, “宣伝指令篇” (The order to promote the Cupnoodle), “板野友美の宣伝篇” (promotion by Itano Tomomi), “渡辺麻友の宣伝篇” (promotion by Watanabe Mayu) , “柏木由紀の宣伝篇” (Promotion by Kashiwagi Yuki).

To commemorate the birthday of Cupnoodle (Sep 18), the three compete against each other to increase the number of applicants for the bonus items of this campaign, “Cup Noodle Robo Timer Trio”.

In the commercials, you can see how they tried promoting Cupnoodles ad-lib, without any written scripts.

The bonus item for this campaign “Cupnoodle Robo Timer Trio” is a toy that makes 3 minutes of waiting time for Cupnoodle totally enjoyable.
