Former AKB48 and SDN48 member Ohori Megumi in wedding dress for new album

On May 14, talent and former AKB48 and SDN48 member Ohori Megumi (29), who married scriptwriter Kanazawa Tatsuya (41), revealed photos of herself in a wedding dress for the first time.

The photo is the jacket cover for her wedding and love song compilation album “Love Love Love Love Love Song,” (which will go on sale June 5.)  She spoke delightedly about wearing a completely white dress for the first time ever with, “I’m wearing it for work, but I feel sentimental somehow.”  Although her ceremony date has not yet been set, she entertained the wild idea of “It made me want to have the wedding ceremony sooner. I would like to hold it at the chapel inviting AKB and SDN members.”


The songs in the album were selected by 7 female wedding planners.  One of the tracks in the album is “Baby, I love You” which she used as the ringtone for her husband during their dating days, and she did PR for the album with, “It feels like destiny.  I hope that all girls can also find their own memorable songs.”  She will participate in the June 8 AKB Senbatsu General Election as a married woman.  She aims to use the power of love to attain a higher ranking.
