Rena was in Kuji City, Iwate Prefecture this month. It is an area that suffered heavy damage from last year's earthquake / tsunami, but
the Ama (lady divers who do not use any breathing aids, and dive to depths of up to 10 meters collecting shellfish) are back at their work this summer.

One of the divers offers some sea urchin for Rena to taste

Rena was in the cast of TBS summer series サマーレスキュー (Summer Rescue) playing the role of Mako Suzuki.
Pictured below with fellow cast member Miyu Oriyama, who played Emily Miyashita.

Rena & fellow cast try to assist Doctor Hayami (played by Osamu Mukai)with
