V6's new single will be entitled "Good Day!!" will be the theme song for the TV-Asahi dorama series 'Keishitei Sousa Ichi-ka 9-sai'. V6's Inohara Yoshihiko's in the lead role for the dorama.

Coming Century will also have a new song entitled "Justice" which will be the opening theme for the NHK anime 'Samurai'.

The release dates for both "Good Day!!" and "Justice" is yet to be confirmed but I figure "Good Day!!" will be the title track for the next V6 single while "Justice" will be B-side for it.

'Yogisha Rider' was the theme to the slightly ecchi late-night dorama '2nd House' that had Nagano starring as the male lead.

Anybody watched the anime 'Samurai'? I'm still catching up on Inocchi's dorama. >_<

What made "Believe Your Smile" a riot at karaoke (at least with my comrades) was that the laserdisc system has the ACTUAL PV.  

I can not emphasize enough how effective this is in increasing the entertainment quality.  Not only for me and my friend (dancing under the influence is brutal work) but for other non-believers who don't know the song and can at least make mental note of the faces on the monitor while I try to turn a backflip in cramped quarters.

Anyway we'll punch in that song when y'all visit.  Or if we meet up in Nippon, BABY!!!

When they used to have one Limited and one Regular edition, I already had enough of a headache trying to decide what to buy. When V6 came up with 'Darling' and that had 6 editions with different freebies, I thought that was bad. Now EVERY JE group is spinning 3/4 versions of the SAME album/single with different extras.

Damn you Kitagawa!! :x

Well, the Very Best II albums are coming out today.. I honestly don't know how I'm going to give room to the albums. That's a lot of space if I try to keep them in their entirety. XD  I'll probably just save all of one, and put the seven or eight bonus tracks of the other two in special folders. :sweatdrop:

V6 of course landed at Number One for weekly sales on the Oricon!  However, it wasn't a landslide of a victory.. check out the top slots of the chart for a comparison of how the sales went:

1. V6 - Very best II - 108631 units sold (1st week)
2. BONNIE PINK - Every Single Day (1995 - 2006) - 91284 units sold (2nd week)
3. Kuraki Mai - DIAMOND WAVE - 78228 unit sold (1st week)
4. SMAP - Pop Up! SMAP - 55570 units sold (2nd week)

As you can see, there was still some strong competition from albums released in previous weeks, so the question now becomes "Will V6's Very best II hold up in following weeks?"

Today's Oricon has V6's album at 9th while BONNIE PINK's compilation of hits remains strong at 5th, despite this being her third week.  

At least V6 got ranked highly the first week, though!

In it's second week on the Oricon, V6's Very Best II came up at No. 10.  

1st Week Sales: 108631 units sold
2nd Week Sales: 24511 units sold
Total Sales Thus Far: 133142 units sold

In comparison, BONNIE PINK's compilation album stayed high on the charts at No. 4 with 71k in sales for the second week (which puts the album above V6 in total sales).  

Today on the daily charts, V6 sits at 17th, and BONNIE PINK starts her week at 2nd.  Next time BONNIE.. they'll take you out next time! (.. next time you both release a best of album at the same time. XD)

They just released three vastly different versions of an album, Suki*!  Geez! XD

I know what you mean though.  A true, honest, successive album with loads of new album tracks.  I'd like that too.  I need something new to support my V6 fandom.  I'm still not sure if I'm into their classic stuff. :sweatdrop:

In the third week on sale, V6's compilation album landed at 19th on the Oricon weekly charts.

1st Week Sales: 108631 units sold
2nd Week Sales: 24511 units sold
3rd Week Sales: 10693 units sold
Total Sales Thus Far: 143835 units sold

Very Best II is no longer in the top twenty on the daily charts, while BONNIE PINK's compilation album remains high at 4th.

Yoshihiko Inohara of V6 and actress Asaka Seto are getting married, it was revealed on Friday. Wanting to inform his fans first, Inohara made the announcement in front of a crowd of 12,000 in Tokyo, during the first concert of their current tour.

After the show, Inohara and Seto held a press conference. They first met in 1995, when Inohara appeared in the NTV drama series, "Owaranai Natsu," which starred Seto. They started out as friends but gradually become lovers. At one point, they broke up, but they happened to meet again five years later at a friend's Christmas party in 2004. According to them, it felt like fate, and they got back together.

On September 11 of last year, Seto and Inohara had visited her home and were driving back to Tokyo when Inohara proposed. Seto, who was driving at the time, said she was so surprised that she doesn't remember how she responded.

The two are already living together, and they plan to submit their marriage registration within the next few days. At the press conference, Seto showed her diamond ring, weighing roughly 2.8 carats.
